"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Why do women describe AFCs when theyre talking about men they "want" so to speak. It just doesnt ****ing make sense.

Take for example, from this girl's away message on AIM I was reading:

Tell her she's amazing. Tell her why she's amazing. Pick her up and pretend you're going to throw her; she'll scream and fight you, but secretly, she'll love it. Hold her hand. Tell her she looks beautiful. Introduce her to your friends as, 'The most amazing girl I know.' Tell her stupid jokes, whatever it takes to make her laugh. Throw pebbles at her window at night. Surprise her. Do things that make her smile. Be spontaneous. When she starts yelling at you, kiss her. Let her fall asleep in your arms. Call her back. Sing to her, no matter how bad you are. Push her on swings. Give her piggy back rides. Stay up with her all night. Leave her little unexpected notes on the car or on her door, saying how much she means to you. Remember dates. And when you fall in love with her, tell her.
Gag me.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

I believe it either has to do with a convoluted idea that romance is something all woman should aspire to, as it will make them happy (sort of the AFC who believes a girlfriend will solve all his problems in life), or that she is saying what society wants her to say.

Since it's an away message and not a response to a question (what do you look for in a guy?), I think it's #1.

that is the truth.

The other thing you have to understand is that women regurgitate the same things they hear on TV. The media promotes AFC behavior by suggesting that women want things they really don't need.

The question isn't "what does a girl want? ". The question is
"What does a woman really need?" and most importantly "what do you need?"

I have found that I appreciate women who are attracted to masculine qualities. When a woman says that her perfect guy is a gay guy. Well she is completely useless for anything more then sex.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

The pretending to throw her bit is alright I admit. Same with surprise her and be spontaneous.

^^^ Don't EVER do this. If she was screaming and fighting you, a bystander could interpret this as rape. Even if she does enjoy it, if the relationship should turn sour she can probably prosecute you for assualt, attempted rape, or harassment.

Find some other way to be spontaneous.

I think I'm actually going to defend the majority of women on this one...

You were pretty much spot on here Screwit, but the fact is, most women have not found what they really want. They are sucked into the whole Mills & Boone, Oprah Winfrey woman power schtick and think that it is the way it should be.

When a woman finally meets a guy who is a bit more... 'primitive' in their approach to women, they absolutely love it. For the most part, they realise that they don't want a Sensitive New Age Guy, or even a Caring Understanding New Type! All along they wanted a guy who is bigger, stronger, will protect them and sometimes tell them what to do.

Sure, some of those things at the start of the post are okay, but only occasionally, and that's only to throw the woman off her guard! (Except for the leaving messages on her car, that is just stupid... unless you are telling her what time you want dinner ready).

That is classic. And a dead on analysis.

u can be sensitive, caring and etc blablabla without being AFC...

i dunno if its women nature looking for a protective guy, strong etc or is a social status quo... In addiction, the truth is that they really don't know what they want

If you do all those things with absolute confidence, there's nothing wrong with them.

Apart from the leaving notes on her car. That's just beyond creepy.

Here's a good rule of thumb. You can do all these things, but only do each one once and spread them out over a lifetime.

all of you are right. They say they want stuff like that, such as seen in movies or television.

but if you give it up to them all at once, they will easily be bored with nothing left ot discover. if doing this slowly from not giving them any of it to slowly spreading it out through time, they will learn to appreciate it.

it's almost like giving them a rose and chocolate on one of your dates, from then on u stop giving it or continue it, she'll likely be disappointed and expect better than you. Of course by doing this, you've put yourself in a level of standards in her mind, and in order to keep her attracted, you need to keep raising the bar...or else

I guess in general girls like a romantic guy one way or another.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

They want that stuff, but they want that stuff from the man that makes her all wet everytime she sees him - so as in everything, there has to be the right sort of balance - this is LTR stuff, but you can't just do this, you also need to keep doing the things you did to make her want to f*ck you in the first place.

Exactly, these arent things they want or need to be seduced. They want these things after they've found a guy they really like a lot, a guy that get's their panties so wet at the sight of him that they need to walk around with a mop to clean up the mess.

This is LTR sh!t, not "if you do this i'll go out with you" material.

These are things they want in the future, to share with someone they feel special with. Dont think too much of it
