"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

I wasnt a bad white knight, but I used to think all women were pure and innocent than this site a d college happened

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

I used to be a WK too, even when a girl was b!tchy I would be WK to her, how pathethic. But seriously any guy who will spend a bit more time around women won't be a WK anymore. After you see that even the most innocent looking girl can be a b!tch.

I do sometimes still have WK tendencies but only to girls who I am dating and it's more as a reward.

modern women also believe they have no obligation to serve their husband, cook for him, or fvck him

as long as men continue to not punch women in the face for this gross hypocrisy...the hypocrisy will continue
I agree with you. Women get away with murder while men can't even cough without being attacked sometimes.

After starting this tread I started thinking about all the times my mother pushed WK values onto me. I think the only thing that saved me was my natural rebellious attitude. I remember watching sitcoms in the 90's where the husband and wife would argue and the man would end up sleeping on the couch. I always thought the woman was wrong and should get slapped across the face.

The media pushes WK behavior hardcore. Any man with a follower personality is going to get sucked into it.

I'm just happy more and more men are waking up to the BS. Men are talking to each other and going on sites like this and learning the truth. Modern women have gotten so ridiculous that even a lot of beta males and white knights are getting fed up with their crap. Its a good thing.

Trump: Good point. Thats precisely why I dont make friends anymore; share weaknesses or failures OR successes; look for sympathy; and so forth. Its better to be alone than with a bunch of ****face losers who try to bring you down to feel better about themselves, and compete with you over EVERYTHING.

Even *****es I used to date would compete with me over who had the best car, was better looking, had the coolest friends, was more exciting, etc. Its like, shut the **** up; no one cares. Everything was a competition to these hoes, they always had to "better" and in-control, and they'd nitpick everything based on superficiality and social acceptance, and would accept or belittle people by the same standards. Of course, that didnt stop me from seeking their approval, getting caught up in the BS, viewing them as good people (through sympathy), and trying to marry them. Fake, shallow status *****s are the WORST. Everything about them revolves around this stupid **** - including everything they garner sympath for. Just a ho-skank-trick complaining.

Though, a lot of this also depends on the kind of people you associate with. The intelligent, semi-geeky, down-to-earth, plain, decent, kind folk arent like this. Nor do they give a ****. Trying to become associated with pleasant folk like this. It's the loud, flashy, in-your-face, attention-seeking, insecure losers. They're all about the ego, because they have no self-esteem (which they hide by dumping their insecurities onto others). *******s, really. Hate 'em. :cuss:

Come on bro, you should know every chance anyone gets to put you down they will take it. Can't get a wife? You are a loser. Don't make enough money? You're a loser. Don't have 3 degrees? You're a loser. Don't have enough friends? You're a loser. Not having sex all the time? You're a loser.

It's not society, it's human nature. I have friends who I've known for 20 years, still knock me down if they can and if it improves their image with their wives. Family members knock you down to make themselves feel better. Every sentence, every interaction, every meeting, every response or non response means something where people can put you down and make themselves feel better.

No one wants you to succeed, it reminds them of their own failures. The only thing that keeps the world turning is money and sex, everything else is bs.
Dude these aren't friends, they are walking bags of insecurity. Yeah once in a while a friend can criticize you, but if they are constantly knocking you either you are taking things to seriously, are they seriously are not "friends". I had that sort of friend before, and now I do without them. Associate with the friends you want to, not every person is out there to side against you.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.
