"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

A lot of men think "All women care about is looks or social status, nothing I do is ever going to make a difference unless I am a doctor with stunning good looks".

Now, I could write a huge essay, but I have a life and no time for that.

Instead I will prove it to you even if you are too terrified of women to talk to one.

This is what you must do. Go find a magazine, one aimed at women is best.

Now I want you to look at 5 magazine ads in say COSMO or a bride's magazine (which I used to create this example). Tell me this:

1) How many of the women in the pictures are butt ugly? If there are men and women in a picture, what are they doing? Why did they pose them that way? Are the women smiling and happy? So you see the social proof they are projecting? That they can be like beautiful and happy people by using this product (or to not be like unhappy people by using it).

2) How many "buzzwords" do you find. Things like "natural", "softie", "relaxing", "lasts forever", etc. any term a woman might have positive feelings for or want to identify with counts. Puns or catchy titles may also be used to elicit a positive response. They want to create those associates with their product and paint a picture of what using the product would be like as positive. Also, they want the women to identify with a typical user of the product, and to label herself as someone who uses the product (a reason why companies often give free samples which combines this and reciprocity).

3) Appeals to a need such as aesthetics, love, safety, security, or social status. For example, if the add shows a Bride as having beaituful teeth and tells the woman she can have "bride white" teeth in just 7 days. My gosh, whats wrong with her, she must admit she doesn't have "bride white" teeth like the lady in the picture. Clearly, the solution must be to get the product so she too can be smiling and happy. Thus the "neg" has been in use for a long time in advertising!

If these ads are ran and they all appeal to certain things, then why is that? Because people are predictable in a typical sense. Because it is possible to predict how the majority of people will respond, and create a sort of campaign that works effectively. It is also possible to predict how a typical person (or a subset of typical persons) will respond to a man's behavior, displayed attitudes, and communication style. What's even more if one need not be ingenious in discovering these things, because it is all well documented by now. There is no excuse why any man cannot flip the attraction switches. It's just a matter of doing.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Here's my thought: if you hear guys talk about a woman they just met, what do they talk about? she has nice boobs, her face is kinda ugly but that's fine, her ass is nice, etc.... and so on describing physical features. If you hear a woman talk about a guy she just met, totally different things, what kind of car he drives, what he does for a living, his personality, a word about his looks. Some of you may say "they just don't want to appear shallow," but talking about how much money he has isn't shallow?

Women talk about the things that guys provide them information on. Most guys will talk about their jobs, their car, the amount of money they make just in an attempt to impress her. Unfortunately he succeeds in attracting women who care most about those things. Then he ends up here posting that she's a wh0re just because she dumped him for someone with a better car. I don't know what's worse, him defining himself by his means to women who care most about those things or him getting pissed off because some other guy did the same thing, just better.
