Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

I do think you have a good point here. The difference between making eye contact with neutral expression vs. eye contact with a smile can be the difference between attracting her and "creeping" her out. So basically a binary, black or white, or night and day difference. This is how women thinking they don't see much shades of gray nor accept anything that doesn't favor their ego. This is what I'm getting at with expressiveness being the x factor.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

I don't think so..I'd say she tok an interest in writing the article because she agrees with it.
Dude you are missing the point. It's her job to write news stories. Of course she may be interested in the study but the point is it wasn't her study or ideas, she's just summarizing someone else's.

I am 40 and I am around a LOT of women in their 30s. Trust me when I tell you that you are wrong.
Latinoman, there are many guys out there that are willing to get into a relationship with a hot 38 yr old woman. His hot 38 yr old girlfriend could've picked some other of the many AFC's out there without his characteristics with no problem.

The few times I have used it...it works for me. Why? Because I only use it on women that I know find me attractive.
Um, isn't part of being a DJ/Player, creating attraction? Even if she doesn't find you attractive when first seeing you, your job is to "create" the attraction. It's always being done. Look at this thread: "Beautiful women with ugly guys". These guys obviously aren't relying on their unnattractive looks.

Oh absolutely, which is why my advice to any guy employing this method, is to be careful how you look at her. You can still look at someone and not smile and at the same time, appear harmless. It's all about the kind of face you put on.

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

Well it all depends on what you consider causes attraction besides just physical looks. As I've said before a woman can observe more than your looks before you or she approaches. She can observe your overall smnoothness and expressiveness to a degree. Some people believe that you can create attraction by just using PUA styles lines and trying to convey an "alpha" attitude almost without in regard to how it is delivered. So it's necessary to "create" attraction out of nothing through approaching her. I disagree with this and at best consider it only icing on the cake of having the requisite factors that actually cause attraction in the first place.

I'm willing to say a guy can create attraction without being particularly good looking, but I still think he has to meet a baseline in looks (most guys probably do) and the less physically attractive he is the harder it is and the more he has to make up for it with other factors. I'm still saying attraction is created and it's necessary to have the factors of overall smoothly expresssing and carrying yourself.

I heard about this chix MySpace page while browsing YouTube before. She is the chick from 'Nada Surf's' video "Popular", the "cheerleadin' chick", lol. Remember her? She is hot. Anyhow, look at her husband, she's got his pics up on her page. This is what I'm talking about when I say "hot chix with below average looking guys". This is a good example of it. This is what I see most hot women with, guys with the same looks as him. Check it out:http://www.myspace.com/sarahsebestyen

Oh and don't let her music kill ya...lol

Uh....that chick is far from ugly, but if you look at her everyday pics she isn't more than a notch above hubby, if that.

Gotta come up with a little better example to support your theory homes.

I agree the woman was not much more than a notch or two above the guy, but I would consider it a mild example of an average guy with an attractive women.

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

I agree, some of those pics aren't all that great. If I had seen her for the first time without having ever seeing her in the 'Nada Surf' video, I would say she just looks "good". In the video however, I think she looks hot. A lot of people aren't photogenic. I think she's one of 'em..because in the video she's pretty hot. But at the same time I know in video shoots they also make you up where you appear hotter than you usually are too sometimes, so you can't really judge by them either. Anyhow, I was mainly basing her looks on that video.
