Well again something extremely weird happened to me. At least I think so. Here it comes:
On a party on April 12th, today exactly two months ago, I met this incredibly cute girl. She was the singer of a band that was playing on that party. As I liked their music a lot I was dancing in front of the stage as a crazy motherf*cker. Aparently she liked it because after the show was over she jumped off the stage and came to me. She started giving me flyers of her band and offering me beer and cigarettes and asked me to come outside. Basically I didn’t have to do anything. The only thing I had to do was decide when the best time to kiss her was. Well after I kissed her we danced some more and at some point she said: “all my friends went home and as I’m not living in Amsterdam I have to sleep at your place.” Well I took her home, etcetera. Too bad I had to go the Philippines that Monday morning and wouldn’t come back until early June. I told her that already. Next morning I didn’t really know what to do. Made breakfast and tea and brought her to the train station because she had to work at her hometown. She kept calling me all day and sending me text messages asking if she could come over that night again. I told her that I still had to take care of a lot of things like buying stuff for the trip and packing bags, but eventually she convinced me and she came over again. The next day (Saturday) we spend a big part of the day together and after I dropped her on the train again she continued calling and sending text messages. Sunday she called me and asked me if she could wave me goodbye at the airport. Well basically I only knew her for four days but it really felt extremely good!
In the Philippines we kept contact by e-mail and after one week she just called me out of the blue and we talked for half an hour. I dunno how much it would’ve cost her, but probably a lot. The second week I called her and the rest of the four weeks we kept contact by e-mail. She was constantly calling me “darling” and other related words. The last week she mailed me that she heard her Grandfather had only two weeks to live, she failed her drivers license, wasn’t accepted at the University she wanted to study next year and on top of all her mobile phone was stolen. Especially because of the first reason she told me she was getting really depressed. Everybody in her family expected her to take a different role. Anyway she asked me to call her as soon as I was home.
I arrived Wednesday May 30th and called her the same day. Asked how she was doing and asked her when she wanted to go do something nice. We talked long and it still felt good. We decided to go to the beach or to the park with a nice bottle of wine that monday as she has a busy job and a lot of band practices the other days. That was the Monday of last week by the way.
Well she called me that Monday in the afternoon. As I was under the shower I couldn’t pick up the phone. She left me a text message saying: “Hey I just heard my grandfather passed away. Do you mind if I take a raincheck on today? I hope the talk with your supervisor will go fine. Kiss.” After I read the message I tried calling her a few times but she didn’t pick up the phone anymore. Maybe she was sad or busy or crying. I dunno. Well I send her a text message that of course it was okay. No reply and no phone call back. As her grandfather got buried Thursday morning I send her a text message Wednesday evening telling her something like “baby, hang in there. Everything will be alright! I’m thinking about you.” Again no reply. Saturday evening I try to call her. After two times of not picking up the phone I send her an e-mail asking her what was going on with her. That I didn’t know what to do or how to act when I don’t know what’s going on inside her. I asked her basically to just reply to the e-mail just saying anything at all. Anything is better than nothing. Again no reply. Well I kind of gave up. Sunday night I went out with my brother and a friend of us. I told our friend the story I just typed out and expected him to tell me to just give it up and move on. He tells me exactly the opposite: “No man! You got her in your pocked! After she was stalking you like crazy before your trip to the Philippines it is not that hard to get her back! Just send her some crazy happy text message right now. Nothing serious, just something sweet and funny.” Well as I had nothing to lose I did. I send something like “Hey baby, I was thinking about you. I feel sad you’re not here with me. Let’s go do something weird next week! Sail to Russia or something else weird! Kisses Guoy.” Next day, no reply. If I wouldn’t see her on MSN messenger I would’ve thought she was dead. But she is always on “not available” and she doesn’t respond when I come online.
Well, what it comes down to is that after she took a rain check Monday last week she hasn’t called, mailed or send me a text message. Even though I called her like 5 or 6 times, send her 3 text messages and mailed her once to ask for clarity in the last 8 days. I have absolutely no clue what’s going on. If she’s dying, if she’s extremely depressed and doesn’t want to talk to anybody, if she hates me for no reason, if she’s f*cking another guy and doesn’t want to tell me that, or maybe something I haven’t thought of.
This morning I removed her phone numbers from my cell phone, removed her from MSN messenger and removed her from some Dutch myspace related site. I feel better now I have no things that remind me of her, but still I feel angry and sad. I still can’t believe that one of the sweetest girls I could’ve imagined changed course for 180 degrees for no real reason and doesn’t have the guts to call me. No matter who dies it doesn’t take a lot of time to reply a text message and tell your “kind-of-boyfriend/guy-you’re-dating” that you don’t want to talk to him anymore for whatever reason. I don’t know what to do next. Totally give up, or get angry at her in one final e-mail. Tell her I’m sorry I shared spit with her. I dunno. But it feels sad that when a girl wants something from me she’s stalking me and giving me the best time and when she doesn’t want it anymore she basically couldn’t care less if I was laying dead in the gutter. And this hasn’t happen for the first time. I don’t trust them anymore. When something so good changes so suddenly and the girl just doesn’t want to talk to you anymore.
Well, I just want to tell this story to you guys. Any advice or any reply is welcome. Maybe you experienced something similar and maybe you know what the best I can do is.
Cheers guys,
Guoy
