@lizardking82 I am more of an alpha female as well. I have zero interest in needing to be a penis in a relationship. In fact, I LONG for a man who can lead properly so I can submit, trust, relieve myself off stress, and follow happily.

I have yet to meet that man. My ex was a beta, my last relationship was more of an alpha but he had no humility and a large ego that needed to be fed. Neither of which I was interested in feeding/dealing with.

A true alpha has humility, self esteem and character. A true alpha doesn't rely on bravado or confrontation. A true alpha male would put the alpha female at ease just by his behavior/actions. She could watch and see that this was someone she could put her faith in.

She could exhale, relax and focus on pleasing him.

Spotting us is quite a heart job, u need not to find the loudest guy in the room, yet his voice are “the loudest” when he speak, he like his time alone because there are so many thing need to plan perfectly and to recharge, the biggest sign is he never require validation, he validate himself unlike the beta who is the loudest in the coffee shop and in need of companions, he got his swagger, very passionate about his life.. And so many other sign that would be too long to wrote here. But be warned, we would drain normal women fast! Ah who wants to work that hard in your downtime. I get to see plenty of females trying to be Alpha at work. Most successful couples I know mix it up. So they'll have a weekend at home doing the Domestics and enjoying the home comforts. next weekend will be social or trying something new. Same thing with leadership. Most of the time I will make the plans. Sometimes I tell my girlfriend she's going to organise something for us. It makes them realise that planning isn't so easy. Valentine's Day was a classic. She was meant to be organising something and feel tired after work. So I brought takeout around to her place. And then of course busted her chops for being useless and had fun dismantling her feeble excuses. Of course I was joking and threw some affection. You have to honor the push pull i.e. female nature.

I don't think an alpha male is well suited for an alpha female. They will each want to go their own direction trying to lead the relationship. In fact the girl I dated had an alpha male for a 2nd husband and she told me they were always trying to out-alpha the other.

My grandma was an alpha female and had a beta husband. That relationship lacked intimacy/emotion and was more of a partnership. I don't think my grandpa ever felt totally himself around her. These women like to keep you on your toes, you can't relax.

Two things have happened with me and alpha females. Either they eventually submit, or I get tired of their shyt and dump them. When I think of an alpha female I think of Miss Independent Miss bossy. Always trying to make all of the decisions and question every tiny decision I make. That doesn’t work with me. That’s why they either submit or eventually I give them the boot.

The Degree of Empathy that I see from my Alpha gf is amazing and is definitely one of her strengths. She can get her way while agreeing with you the whole time. But she is open to reason. Especially if you explain to her how something makes you feel. She leads with her energy and by being an example of working hard. And she will call you on your bull****.

To use a term from a blogger....She is Alpha 2.0 Her happiness comes first and the best way to be happy is not to create drama...

This isn't an Alpha Female. She is more of an Alpha Male in a woman's body. A true Alpha Female would be more feminine. An Alpha is just the leader of their peers, so among a group of female peers she would be the most feminine, the one in the group more in touch with her femininity. Rollo Tomassi lays this out very well in the Susan Venker interview. Venker described it the same as the OP here and Rollo had to straighten that out. Don't get me wrong, Venker is one of the good ones, but I go with Rollo on this one.
