"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Man guys I look down and I see like 10 locked threads in a row, what the hell? Listen up...something I got to get off my chest.

I know you, you know me. We all know eachother. I may not know your name, but I know what you are. You're *THE* MAN. You're the one. You're IT. You're Tyler Durden (brad pitt), you're the rich guy, you're Snoop Dogg, you're ...*THE* MAN.

I also know what you AREN'T. You aren't the piece of sh*t that stands their next to the girl contemplating what to do. You're NOT the person standing on the outer cirlce of the POPULAR GROUP while the hot girls hold on to the jocks. You arn't weak inside. You ARN'T submissive.

You ARE assertive.

You see what you want.

You get what you want.

You take it.
(REPEAT that part until engraved in head)

You are THE MAN. You will be huddled around in a circle with the hot chicks holding onto you.

I'm telling you, if you don't think you're worthy of *the popular people*, then you arn't.

Because you are THE MAN. And you should show it...

Now show it. You've lost your old ways, and the new has arose.

Ask yourself before you don't do something:

WILL I REGRET THIS LATER?

If so. Do it.

Just do it.

because YOU are the man.

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
