Sodium is what gets added when food goes through processing. Too much processed food in our diet is the reason why americans are getting too much sodium in their diet.

You are very true,BUT sodium is very easy to overcome=WATER.

Guys shopping at whole foods is not a guarentee for a healthy diet. There is no substitute for knowledge, you need to know what foods are worth buying organic and pesticide free (meats, heavily contaminated fruits vegetables like apples, grapes, peaches, raisins, lettuce, spinich) and you need learn how to tell wholesome organic foods from organic junk, which Im sorry to say there is a lot of at whole foods.

Exactly. When I'm working out constantly, too much sodium is the least of my worries.
