Look around on POF and similar sites-- POF is good because of the yes/no/maybe feature that lets you quickly select people based only on a few photos-- and ask yourself how many of those women you would even consider dating.
For me it's about 3% if that. Probably 75% of those, I would disqualify based on personality factors.
Of course, I'm over 40, so many of the women there have run into the wall. Some of them very hard indeed. Some of them weren't anything special in the first place.
There's a perception around PUA communities that women are deluged with date requests. Even substandard women.
But consider for a second what the vast majority of those guys are like, and what they want.
I used to maintain myspace profiles that were attractive women, because at one time I was involved in marketing. Sometimes I would go through the mail that those profiles received and it was shocking and repulsive to say the least.
Maybe I'm biased because I am physically large and not a bad looking dude-- I'm certainly not Brad Pitt but a lot of women like big guys above all else. But I really have to say it wouldn't take most dudes much to put themselves far above the pack.
