"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Now, I'm not asking ur opinion on it and whether or not u think its stupid. I'm asking who has actually TRIED it and how it compares to just regular game.

Because Mystery makes it sound like no other pick up style works. So does anyone who actually tried it have any comments about it? I personally don't feel like telling a bunch of long DHV stories and stuff, but if telling the stories really gives u THAT much more of an advantage I'd like to know. Tnx..

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

The caveat he should add to his method is no other method works for him . He has the overall intelligence, as well as the practice with his tools so that his method works. For an average person, more effort would be required to do what he does. In my opinion, it is too formulaic in nature, but has attributes which have great merit; I even attempt to utilize them into my own sort of style.

I have never try his method but what he teaches make sense. Psychology is Psychology and you cant denied that. If a girl demonstrate higher value and you feel shes better then you, would you be just a little bit intimidated and be attracted to her?

I like that he made it into a science of sorts. allows really analytical people to learn how to pick-up. but I find the "science" of it too boring. thats what turns people into social robots.
"um am I in C1 yet? I'd better bait the target to DHV... uh oh.. NEG!"
takes all the magic out of it

I don't like it. I read part of the book and just stopped reading it cause it seemed that women werent being enjoyed. But more of like a game that has like stages and ****. I'm not saying "The game" is wrong but the way he conveys it, it is too me. I mean cmon. C1? B1? C2? WTF. It's girls. It's not science.

I think it's actually funny that he has like a poster board and points on to the ppl who pay for him, the **** and waht stage they are in. And what they should do after a certain sentence. lol

"we got a stage five DHV with a *****shield of negative 9. If I can reach that to a pinpoint of .2222 I think I can get her to a C1 stage. If not I'll do a backup and do a neg hit and tell her the cube story"

That **** takes away all the magic of women.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

haha I agree all those lingo they used sounds really geeky but like with anything, you have to take it with a grain of salt. There is definally some good stuff in the method but I don't think anyone should be obsess over it. I myself would just learn the basic and develop something that works for me.

I find his method has its uses, but Mystery is a showman at heart, and basically turns the process of picking up a chick into a show.

You can fast forward the process by just being more direct. Never underestimate the power of suggestion!

tnx

I read what all u guys are saying, i kind of agree. I like the A1 and stuff b/c it just breaks down all the stuff we ALL use to a science.

I personally like to just mention an ex-gf in conversation or say a joke about my friends for (DHV) and probably tease the girl for a (neg).

But he says direct stuff like just saying "Hi" gets u blown out immediately b/c they hear that all the time. But I'm not too crazy about asking "hey what's ur opinion on this" and crap.

I use parts of it. The M3 model is brilliant and I've used negs for years. I haven't used any of the reutines and currently don't work the bars/clubs with my sole purpose being pickup. Though I plan on giving it a try in it's total form as soon as I get my sh1t together in other parts of my life. The newbie mission can be demanding; if you've read the VAH you know what I mean.

"Hi how are you/Hi, having a good night" does NOT get you blown out.

People seem to forget the importance of body language and high energy level.

What you say is only 1 part of the equation.

People throughout history have gotten laid without asking girls about their friend who has a jealous girlfriend.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

And he addresses this in the VAH. It's not supposed to feel normal at first, but what does? That's the point of the newbie mission; after approaching 200+ sets with opinion openers you become decensitized.

I blend the styles, but I've studied a lot here on sosuave, mystery method, juggler method, pu101, RSD, c+f... There are so many guru techniques.

I think it's healthy to try them all out a bit, and then find a style that fits your personality, which is essentially that cliche "be yourself" deal. I personally don't like doing routines, but if I think of an interesting topic to start up, when the conversation lulls, then I'll give it a shot and see where it goes. This almost always pulls the interaction back in and makes it dynamic to talk about so many other subjects.

I like to make every interaction unique, but MM has it's own weight in gold. Just like they teach us here to look for 3 IOIs to know where the attraction level is at in any given interaction and knowing there's enough attraction to transition to comfort building.

I agree about 200+ sets -- after that many you do become decensitized to human interaction, but you can be stoked your social intelligence has improved in leaps and bounds, because it has. The approach anxiety is much less and less with the confidence that is gained just from constantly getting the new experience out there in the field.

Resilient, doent it drives you crazy learning all those methods and they contradict each other. Sometimes a certain guru will go out of their way to put down another technique. Some do it because they think a technique doent work or some do it because of competition. In either case, it is disheartening to know that some guru think the other guru is wrong... maybe the guru is not wrong but you kinda think there is some truth to it and that maybe most of them don't understand the game like we gave credit to them.

It seems to work for people who put forth the effort. Although that could easily be said for any of the dating theories but what makes Mystery successful is that he understands and expounds on the science behind a person's actions and beliefs.

The Mystery Method isn't based solely on memorized lines or mind tricks, it's necessary to spend time to learn and understand these concepts. This is why it's not the best method for people looking for a quick fix.

I've read Mystery's Venusian Arts Handbook. It's an interesting read, and I'm sure his techniques work, but they're not me. I remember a few months ago when I just started going out specifically to meet women, I'd ask their opinions on things, and because I was so nervous about it, I'd get blown out of the water. (Mind you, being "blown out" just meant them not being interested in a conversation, or just turning their backs) When things started to work for me was when I had REAL CONVERSATIONS with people.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Seduction is a business. Many will strive to market their own technique with WBAFCs they've trained into aPUAs, but what does it all matter anyway? We're in this for self-improvement, after a while of trying things out we'll find out what suits our personalities best, and use these "techniques" traits to examplify our authentic confidence - which is what women are looking for in the first place.

You can use your observing ego (analytical mind) to find where you are in the interaction like playing a game of chess (particularly using the M3 model), or can you step back from the interaction, enjoy yourself, enjoy the person you're talking to, and let go of the outcome. I used to always sarge with the mindset of wanting to get laid, now I go out because I enjoy the company I'm with and curious to see who I'll meet or what my conversations with random women will be about.

I used negs heavily when I started out on the Mystery Method, now I seldomly feel I need to use them against women.

Women will become attracted to you once they can pick up that you're not desperate to get laid and that you don't need women for validation. Silent confidence is a DJ concept I'm beginning to grasp with age.

Mixed gender sets aren't impossible, they just take a certain level of tact and high energy as well social calibration to master. If you reach the SHP (social hook point) you're in. In my mind they are the most rewarding as often enough the hottest 9s,10s are already bored with 3 other tall dudes and are looking for an Alpha Male to entertain and befriend them all. Mystery Method is perfect for mixed sets in this resolve.

When I get an AMOG crash my set with a silly opener or high energy, I'll befriend him first, introduce him to my target, then include him in the conversation. If he begins to get annoying or insults me, I can ignore him or have him removed from the set since I opened up him first. If his game is weak, he'll naturally make stupid mistakes that will get him ejected out of set. Half the time these guys are drunk anyway, and are just looking to tool others.

My old instructor from the Charisma Arts charm school earlier this year told me that I would leave from the bootcamp with a lot of theories and practice, but in time I would not be using the Juggler Method, but the Resilient Method and I'm beginning to believe it as I become more comfortable with myself.

The heart of Mystery Method is neg theory, and I've used it very successfully...I don't ascribe to his methods of opening mixed gender sets, though. Just doesn't seem to work for me.
Maybe you are not using his method. Maybe you are using something that comes natural to you based on your looks, experience, and ability to communicate. And it just happen to be very similar to what he does.

I personally do not subscribe to any method. Although, I must admit that reading some of the advice given in here (e.g. mature forum), it sometimes makes me come with the "hmmmmm...that's a very good point."

I'm sure "Mystery Method" might work for certain demographic (e.g. age, race, education level, location of the venue, etc.). After all...it appears that he meets (based on what Ive seen in this forums) with women that go to bars, etc. ANYONE can apply simple attraction methods to those kind of young women.

Guys...guys...guys...

Some methods are going to help you find a few women. But...it will NOT help you keep a woman interested in you for a long time. Or a woman from cheating on you.

Sleeping around gets tiresome after a while, because as you self improve...then the kind of woman you choose becomes of higher quality. In another words, you will be more selective.

Keeping a high quality woman interested solely in you takes a LOT more than "PUA" techniques.

It, in fact, take DJ technique.

And what is a DJ? A REAL DJ is a man that seek self improvement. His life does not revolve around woman. After all...he is the prize and as such, he has options.

A real DJ manage to improve his life professionally...manages to improve his fitness and health...and manage to improve his knowledge (either by going to school or reading - yep, you don't need to be College Educated to be a DJ).

If you cannot keep your woman interested in you...for a long time...then those so called "Methods" are worthless and nothing more than a facade.

ANYONE can get laid. ANYONE. But very few can keep a woman interested 100% on him.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.
