Some girl just messaged me out of the blue and told me that her sexual health clinic sent her an email and told her to come in and talk to them after she had tests done. The clinic was closed and so she has no idea what the results are. She will find out monday. She wanted to know if I have ever had an STI/STD. This being because she has only had sex with her ex boyfriend of 5 years and me.

I told her absolutely not, but now its got me thinking.

Ive been with a lot of girls. Most without a rubber. Ive never been checked. But I've also never had symptoms, and girls that have had s3x with me have been tested and came out clean.

Now, her clinic may not be calling for anything and she may not have an STI/STD, but that doesn't seem likely. I think, even though I have never had symptoms for an STD or STI, I should go get checked because, well, some are asymptomatic.

I hope that I dont have one, but could you guys share your stories on STI/STD scares? Whether you have ever had one? and what changed in your life when you figured out you got one? How was the treatment like? etc etc.

You'd be relinquishing a lot of the worry that I have right now. Thanks mates!

And I found out she been cheating on me for at least 6 months.

She had caught syphillis from the guy she was cheating on me with, the only reason I didnt catch it was because our sex life had fizzled out. Long story short trust me this female in question has been fu€king other guys. :yes: Best part about it was after she left me he dumped her and went back to his girlfriend she tried to come back to me, but I refused her advances over and over until I had to get my number changed because she wouldn't stop calling. I dont doubt it. She most likely has been with other guys, which is perfectly fine with me. I never dated her or anything, she was kind of a fvck buddy for roughly 6 weeks, which was about 8 months ago. Shes just messaging me now out of the blue and asking me.

What do you think I should do?

Well I advise to go get checked, I would make a wager that you are clean, but I wouldn't sex her again without protection. Actually if I ever found a girl I was messing around with had an std, I instantly lose all attraction, but thats just me. But go get yourself tested ASAP, I've only had one std in my life and that wad enough for me. Don't sweat it until you know for sure. Hopefully she hasn't exposed you to something serious like hiv, papillon virus, herpes or hepatitis. .

I've never had an STD and was with several women who did have them so I was tested many times. Diseases do not attack healthy people as we are told. Diseases are opportunistic. They are omnipresent and will move in to any areas they can conquer. The same holds for cats with fleas. A healthy cat is flea proof, even when living with a flea infested kitten who was adopted. This happens from diet, not from vaccines or medication (which CAUSE disease). Only a healthy diet can prevent or cure disease, this is the opposite of what the FDA says. STD's were rare before 1960 and came about because of the PILL, promiscuity in women and processed foods.

I've got herpes which isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be. I take a daily antiviral and lysine pill to keep it dormant, and I avoid foods that trigger it. Haven't had an outbreak in over a year.

The sad thing is I have no clue who I caught it from. I've boiled it down to three potential women: two that won't speak to me and one who could potentially be lying about not having it.

STDs come with the territory. Just hope that you don't get one that kills you. Herpes is manageable, Gonorrhoea and Syphilis are both treatable with antibiotics. The rest are the ones you don't want.

Contracted Chlamydia close to two years ago. Had I never gotten tested, I'd probably still have it right now to this very day. I vaguely remember an occasional on and off discomfort on the tip, but other than that, nada. Cleared it up with a bombardment of antibiotics (a gram of Azithromycin I believe it was).

It always seems worth playing that stupid game of Russian Roulette (aka bareback) right until it's over. Then you realize, sh1t, I could have jerked off, felt nearly the same, and not put my entire life at risk in the process.

I am 100% sure i dont have HIV or any blood bound STDs because I went a donated blood multiple times and they check for all blood harbouring diseases.

But Chlamydia and Gonorrhoea could be, because they can be asymptomatic. I have zero symptoms, and neither does the girl.

She has fvcking tripped me out with this call mates.

For the life of me I cant think of any girl that could have given it to me. There is one girl who is VERY sketchy when it comes to STDs because when i had s3x with her she had had s3x with over 25 guys. But she currently has a bf and shes been checked and came out clean.

Well at the end of the day its not the end of the world. I know for a fact that I dont have HIV. So the worst one is out of the way. And for both me and this girl to have no symptoms has to be a good sign. I guess we will have to wait and see.

Get a FULL PANEL screening. Don't scratch any off thinking "naah, don't have that one...or that one...or that one... Guess I'll just check myself for Syphilis and this strange one here I've never heard of nor can I even pronounce."

I believe some can take up to three months? to show up on any test results too, so keep that in mind. Oh, and then you've got your false positives (rare) and false negatives (more common than false positives). Not to freak you out, but to keep you aware.

Fair enough. I am going to get a full screening anyways. I want to be sure. If i come back clean, I will never go bareback again unless I am 100% sure that she is clean, and by that i mean I will only go without a rubber in a monogamous relationship where she's been tested. The worry is not worth it. But Im going to assume that I have something, so If i do then i will be prepared and will expect it. I don't want to hope for the best because usually what happens is the worst. Pessimistic i know, but its better expect the worst, and be surprised by good results, then expect the best and not be prepared for the worst.
