Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

Who do you guys talk to?

I really like to have someone to talk things out with and be able to throw a little fit now and then when things are going wrong but who is there to talk to?

You're not really supposed to let your girlfriend see that you're upset especially if you know it's kind of silly but you still want to blow off steam. You're supposed to be a rock of a man and they come to you not the other way around... or something like that. Right?

And you can't really cling to some new girl you're dating to blow off steam.

And guy friends really don't want to hear it too much.

So the only thing i can think of is to use female friends you're not interested in who you don't care about as a female equivalent of emotional tampons.

What do you think?

*waits to be pounced on*

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

What the f*ck are you talking about? Real men don't talk, they just bottle everything up inside and take it out on some idiot they meet at the bar.

:) Just kidding.

It's tough, especially as you get older and are expected to "be a man". I say screw that.

Or, and god knows I'm going to get pummelled for this... talk to women. Really. I know that people think that this will only make you more AFC but I think that's bullsh*t.

I usually talk about my woman problems with one of my closest friends who happens to be female. Funny thing is she was giving me advice about women corgruent with this site for years, I just didn't listen.

Any other issues I talk about with a couple old friends. I have ALOT of acqaintences who I socialize with but very few close friends. The ones I'm close with I can talk about anything to. I was there to help them through divorces, deaths, etc. so there's a bond there.

Yeah in the past i've had a few internet only female friends on AIM i've always used to complain about women with...and they always ask me for men advice. Now i've never really listened their advice but i know better... but it's a good feeling to be able to vent and for them to at least care enough to try to help (even if they're not good at it.) But alas, i haven't really had any of those since college which was a couple years ago.

Talking to guys just doesn't seem to work for me. They never seem too interested and my friends tend to be kind of dorky so if i ***** about a girl i can just picture them thinking "at least you have a girl to ***** about." Haha.

And other stuff non-women related...dudes just don't care. I see why women complain.

I believe a psychiatrist is an excellent tool...mine, a female, is fascinated with my living the PUA lifestyle, but more importantly, she is a great tool...a great listener, too. She never gives advice...I like going to see her, discussing things candid, lighthearted, etc. It really helps to have someone to talk to in an objective way...just release all the **** that I'm thinking,...and I'm ALWAYS thinking.

Seeing a shrink is like taking a mental dump.

Hmm yea i can't afford a therapist and i don't think it's that bad. And that'd be just added stress trying to keep appointments :) Just nice to occasionally have someone to b1tch to.

I didn't mean to give the impression i'm all freakin out currently.. but since i've left college and left behind a lot of friends and moved out of state there just aren't many people to talk to who really give a damn.

I'm always thinking too. I can get quite animated and talk in a brainstorming fashion once I get going. Kind of freaks people out and they look at me like "calm down man it's not that bad!" Very few realize about me is that i just like to rant and vent and i KNOW things aren't that bad; i just make them seem worse because of how animated i get.. heh.

I think i'll just make more of an effort to make female friends again. That's been a bit neglected since i'd been in a LTR for so long.

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

Usually I explode them onto various forums if im in a bad mood. Or if it's not that bad then I bottle it up. Maybe once in awhile ill tell one or 2 of my good friends, but it's rare.

To be honest with all the pretentiousness in this world, no one can really even give a crap about your problems. as everyone's entitled to their own ego.

I do have a couple good female friends, but I have nothing to say to them...if anyone they are good to hearout one's problems.
