Who are the men who buy colored boxers

Sound silly, but lately, I noticed 80% of men's underwear and even summer clothes were having bright colors reds, and greens, are there too many men buying this stuff? if not how the business is risking purchasing all these ammount of clothes if there is really no buyers for them?
