And in many nations, ethnic minorities are underrepresented in the military. So you do the math. Those two terrorists wanted to kill a soldier. The reason guns are in the constitution is so we could defend against government tyrants.

The reason we need guns now is to protect ourselves against the thugs that the governments invite into the country and allow to run free.

I guarantee you this problem would VANISH if citizens were allowed to buy and carry guns without needing any kind of license or permit.

It's also an issue of "public property" vs. "private property."
