Whiffing on POF...any thoughts?

Yep, I had one girl reply and then block me. What a nutjob.

I have gotten a # so far with your message, but I doubt it goes anywhere. I have had alot of online dating success, but never from POF. I have had better luck on Craigslist than POF. I have had the most luck spamming on match.

After that use the other posters reply.. "I thought we were "soulmates" but I see you're hung up on..(whatever they mention in their profile) I go into that AFTER. There ARE alot of nutty girls and stuck up ones but keep going! Even if you think the one you've emailed is the hottest! these girls are going to keep their profiles up and keep reading responding to messages from "hawt" guys. Just do real life cold approaches, meet people in real life and have FUN with POF and maybe get a lay. Also after a few emails or days ask if they have facebook. you can see more pics of them and see if they aren't huge. Don't be a stalkerface. I barely EVER write to anyone..Friends included on Facebook. Use it to see more pics of them. And get a NUMBER eventually. Text them with funny sh!t, and try to talk on the phone. Setup a meet. And expect the WORST. So you have no dissapointment. Keep spamming! dude you'll have so many relying and numbers you'll forget names etc. so make an email with names ,usernames and quick notes so you don't forget and blow it.

Don't go into how "hawt" they are or come off as an AFC. Ask them what they were for last Halloween, their hairstyle, what brings them to pof, in seperate emails. Keep them yammering about themselves. And keep emailing new ones! this way if it falls throught you have new prospects! Try to get a number or facebook add and eventually after a number "send me a pic..a normal one...for my picture caller id..They send them. Dudes I'm telling you if you can talk...you will get them. Don't just listen to me....DO IT.

Cold approaches also. Take POF as a suppliment to getting more! It's a side thing. Not the end all be all. I'm telling you if you can talk and have a funny decent pic profile they WILL respond! I am NOT joking!

Still go out and do approaches in real life. POF is good to practice lines and possibly meet, get numbers etc. It's free. Nothing to lose.

I lose my time on that site; time that could be better spent reading about economics/psychology/social dynamics/doing cold approaches. And in losing that time I lose opportunities. So no, I don't consider POF to be free at all.
