"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

If only I could afford decent Gucci items, I'd buy that! Hehe
fair play man, I say save up..you'll see the difference ;-)

btw the above post is half right...definitely ditch sports trainers, keep some IMO and his second pair look like something a dirty old man wears...keep it young + fresh ;-)

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

I'm 18 years old, and a freshman in college. I'll mostly be wearing jeans, and wearing shoes like that with jeans would seem a bit odd, eh? I mean, those are beautiful shoes, but I'm still a bit too young for them. Hehe I really appreciate everyone's input though!

I just finished my first year at uni, I wore Gucci/D&G right the way through...they're just normal trainers that look way cooler ;)

shame you can't attach a picture on here or I'd show you :(

“The 22 Rules That Turned Me From Invisible to Irresistible With Women… Starting Tonight”

You can skip the expensive cars, the fancy clothes, and the endless gym selfies. Completely unnecessary.

I used to freeze the second a beautiful woman looked my way. Frustrated. Awkward. Watching other guys walk away with the girl while I stood there tongue-tied.

Then I discovered 22 simple rules that rewired my entire dating life. The anxiety vanished. Conversations flowed effortlessly. Women started chasing me for a change.

These rules trigger a woman's subconscious attraction switches. And you can start using them tonight.

I think those type of shoes went out of style already. Remember Airforce 1? people dont even buy them in whites anymore, they buy them in black now but most dont buy em at all.

KarmaSutra, nice boots but not right for everyone, certainly not for preppy style.

Man, I feel kinda guilty that I turned this into a fashion thread when there are many fashion threads out there. It's just that the guys on the GQ forum have style that is years ahead of my time... I'm not 35 workin' an office job. lol I'm a freakin college student!

But still those type of shoes are really highschool, you're better then that. I agree with you with the styles forum out there, its not for the young urban guys.

I think the white sneakers and jeans is so played out now, everyone has that mindset that white sneaker goes with everything and everyone ends up looking the same. If you wanna wear white shoes, don't go for sneakers. Get some real mens shoe.

Brother, I am complimented all the fvcking time. You can get them at Nordstroms or do what I did and hit up a consignment shop. I went to a neat little consignment boutique in Hyde Park in Tampa and picked up a pair of Mark Nasons for $45! They retail for over $400 at Nordstroms in International plaza.

They last forever and are relatively maintenance free.

I can never understand this mentality. Why follow the herd brother? Preppy is a cliche' just like every other "style".

You're bigger than that.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Great last on those boots, if he didn't go overboard with the mall-metal adornment I'd definitely wear those.

Karma's right... why pigeonhole yourself when it comes to style? Why can't a "prep" throw in something else every once in awhile? I have some old Ivy League Trad in my style but I don't look like a 45 year old country club member, and lots of indie influence but I don't look like a 17 year old emo queer. Style is who you are, not which little restrictive box you best fit into.

Absolutely!

It's so nice to see that a lot of people on here are not afraid to wear something different than what everyone else is wearing!

And those boots are really nice! $45?! Man... You got a really great deal!

Being "unique" is good but not to the point of loosing touch with reality, thats how you end up looking like a freak. Unless you enjoy looking like that.

It is not about following the herd to classify a certain thing. We use the English language aren't we? why not just invent your own language if you don't want to follow the herd. Ofcourse the nobody would understand what you're saying. People need cliche, stereotype for the sake of communication.

This is complete and utter bullsh!t and you know it. Your argument doesn't hold water whatsoever. I'm not suggesting painting your fvcking nails black or putting on eyeliner, but for Christ's sake you should step out and make something you wear something you are. Make a statement about yourself when you go out. Don't wear "preppy" just to fit in when you go play croquet. When I'm on the golf course I am fvcking fresh as hell. I don't give a good goddamn what the geezers say. My sh!t is tight and it's going to stay that way.

You're arguing and defensive just for the sake of the thing. Grow up.

You make a quote to me by mocking me and now are telling me to grow up?

What's more is that you take what I said out of context. Unless you make your own clothes, what you wear will always be classified as a certain style. Those boots above is also fit into a category, maybe to you you're the original but people who saw you wear it will classify you. It just human nature, that just how it is.

Back to Fashion for a bit, lets say the guy likes to wear baggy jeans. Do you honestly think those boots look good on him? its not even about looking good, it is impossible to walk in it without falling flat on your face. What happens then? you would likely want to buy some skinny jeans and guess what? you end up looking like a cowboy country club guy that likes to go salsa dancing. Designers made clothes to fit a demographic, that just reality.

For the record, I wear whatever fits my personality. I don't have a "style" in mind but I know people are gonna classified me no matter what. Its the basic of sub-communication.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.
