I plan to buy either NoExplode (Creatine) or Optium 100% Whey Protien shake because I don't have that much money to spend and my aunt is being a b*tch and thinks that all suppliments are bad for you and it kills your liver. So I was wondering which of these two would be better for gaining mass and heavy lifting.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Protein itself is infinitely more important, but theoretically if you're getting enough protein from food, wouldn't creatine (at a certain point) be more beneficial?

In terms of nutrition and full muscle growth, Whey Protein is better, but yeah, they are two different thing.

Creatine just boosts your muscles ability to retain water. Which effectively bulks up your muscles somewhat, but doesn't provide the same results as Whey Protein.

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

This poll is retarded. They're both used for completely different things.

If you want to know what to buy, buy niether. Get your diet in order before you throw your money away.

"Whey" protein provides no results. It's just a quick and easy way to get enough protein in your diet. It's food. Any (complete) protein will work just as well.

Creatine also does more than help your muscles retain water. In fact that's just a side effect that really provides no benefit to muscle growth. Creatine is used to increase energy.

I know they are both used differently but I want to know WHICH WOULD BENEFIT MORE FOR HEAVY LIFTING AND MASS GAINING. If everyone's diet was perfect there is no point taking suppliments. I need whey to supplicate enough protien for my daily intake which is around 180. I try to get as much protien from food but it takes way too long and I don't go shopping for food cuz I'm 17 and I live with my guardians.

Whey protien is the best dude. Plus it absorbs fast so just drink it right after you workout. Don't start creatine till you been lifting a while, and if you take creatine w/ not enough protein you'll have lots of energy and you'll be able to lift more but you won't make great gains in size, you will just be sore. Protein is the one thing needed to create size in muscles.

Obviously it doesn't "provide" results in the sense of the word. Everything is combined with your own workout limitations.

And yes, creatine is used to increase energy, I didn't touch on that base. But in saying that, there are much better supplements and such out there that can provide a better energy boost. The water retention factor of creatine does provide an illusion somewhat. Nothing substitutes for real muscle development, rather than image.
