Assuming you get the good stuff, after perhaps three hits you will probably be HAMMERED, especially for newbies, but there will be no slurred speech and no hangover. If it's clean, you won't get headaches. At worst, physically, you will cough. Weed basically feels exactly the same as being really drunk except with the world's greatest and longest orgasm the first time you get high, on about the second or third time. Even though the orgasmic quality disappears with continued use, it's still a very good feeling.
It's certainly one helluva lot healthier to smoke weed than drink. You can so wreck your body with alcohol in so many ways, but with weed, eh, memory impairment and cognitive abilities improve very rapidly and are totally back to normal within six weeks. Foods and sweets taste
amazing. Weed isn't great on the lungs but the jury is out whether it causes long-term damage, but that problem is solved with vaporizers.
But think about finances: if you go to a bar, a night of heavy drinking might cost $30.00, let's say, for five or six drinks. If you're in Miami or New York, a good night may cost $100.00 for all that debauchery. Regardless, that's just for one night of fun. Now, an eighth of an ounce of really good weed ("krippie") might cost $60.00 and can easily last a month or more at a casual pace. With two or three hits a high, I once estimated it can cost perhaps $2.50 to get high.
Bible_Belt:
Most pot smokers become introverted and anti-social, the opposite of alcohol.
I think "sleepy" and "contemplative" are the more accurate terms, IMO.
