You're thinking of condoms made of animals (sheep skin or sheep blader or something I think), which protect against pregnancy but not disease.

haha i go with the ultra ribbed but trust me, dont use them on a virgin... it must have been painfull for her but oh well i just used the her pleasure ones last night, i still need to ask her if she felt a difference.

Thats a good question. I have never really given this much thought either at this point, because as it stands right now I think it might be a while before I need to use a condom.
