At school, the mall, downtown: those are usuall the most common aside from parties and U18 clubs.

I'd probably suggest NOT doing a LOT of approaches at school. Mostly because if you fock it up, then you'll see them for the next year or whatever. And if you're not all that great, then your rep might suffer. Might.

Local shops/movie theaters is always a good place for me. Mostly because that way I know they're from nearby, and i can get around on my bike rather than driving.
