We live in two different worlds, America is different from Russia. You had George Bush, Barack Obama, Donald Trump each one is unpopular in their own way, we had Putin for all those years, and he always was popular. However, certain things are everywhere the same. These protests/riots can end up with a violent revolution. Same thing happened in Ukraine back in 2014. There was similar protests, then secret special services fired sniper rifles and killed people on both sides to instigate revolution, then Ukraine lost Crimea, and presently their government is controlled by west, nothing really changed, except economy got worst and land is being sold to offshore foreign entities. I'm not saying this is what awaits America, however, it is one of possibilities. The important thing though, when things like this happen, government cracks down, and here is where to my warning, ATTN to mods part.

Do not allow discussions about these riots on your forums. It is political, close those threads down. Because, it could happen that your site will be labeled anti government and terrorist and you will shut down.

I sht you not. In my country I cannot access gnome-look.org without VPN, it is blocked. Apparently it is poorly moderated and from time to time there is gay porn and antisemitic messages, which get deleted, but not fast enough. Hear me out, they will block this site if you do not moderate.

It's all in the context, gnome-look.org is a site where you download themes for linux. Don't you think it's kinda dumb to have to fire a VPN to access a site where you can download cursor and window themes?

This is my point, gotta lock and delete protest and political related threads, otherwise we are going to be accessing sosuave.net via VPN.

First thing governments do in situation like these is block anything that don't look right, even a single thread can be a reason to ban sosuave on domain level and instead of RickTheToad I'm gonna get another site which says this resource is blocked by the order of United States government.

I don't know how we can be expected not to discuss the protests, they are literally the biggest things going on in our country right now. It's like if there was an asteroid that was approaching to destroy the earth and we wouldn't be allowed to discuss it. Disallowing political debates between the two parties would be more reasonable.

I mentioned this on the Floyd thread...the discussion has been very civil. Some disagreements but no name calling or trolling. Maybe because the events are so dramatic, people are calmer. Or maybe because some trolls just haven't shown up to stir the pot.
