You see the same question/problem all the time. "I can't talk to girls, how do I get my confidence up?"
Many people have a problem with how they view themselves (which is directly related to their confidence level).
So where does confidence come from?
Well it doesn't come out of thin air. It doesn't come from practice. It doesn't come from overcoming fear with anger.
It comes from liking yourself and feeling like you have something to offer. "Boring" guys seem to have the lowest confidece levels, and why is that? It's because they feel like they don't have anything to show for themselves. And well, it's true.
You have to feel like you're an interesting person. If all you do is go to school/work and then sit at home, of course you're a boring person. Hell, I wouldn't even want to talk to you as a friend. You'd be flat out lame. And that's how you would see yourself.
The guys with the most confidence are guys who do stuff. They go out, they have lots of interests and so on. And when I say "interests" I mean interesting interests. Not playing video games or surfing the web.
Part of what the DJ bible says is that you should take up some hobbies and such. And although the bible doesn't make the connection between hobbies and confidence, they are directly related.
If you're having a problem feeling secure enough to talk to girls or that you don't what to say to them, it's a problem of not feeling like anyone would want to hear about you. Go do something. This is the easiest thing you can do to be on your way to being a DJ. Go sign up for a few activities. And get out of the house.
You don't need to go with anyone, just go.
Go see all the museums where you live. Go visit art galleries. Even if you don't like art or museums, just do it. It will secretly help your brain and confidence just knowing that you have seen those things. Go to the theatre, go to a restaurant that you normally wouldn't try. Take up a sport. Hiking, biking, rock climbing. Sign up for ballroom dance lessons. Sign up for hip hop lessons at your gym. Go to wine tastings. Become a connoiseur of a couple things (it means to really learn about something a lot). Find out some hot new books and go read them. Travel. Save up some money and go somewhere (no, not the next state over, go somewhere).
The more you do, the more confident you'll feel in yourself because you will be a very interesting person. And just by magic, it will seem as if your conversation skills will improve.
Women like a sophisticated man. They like someone who's not boring.
Hobbies/interests aren't just so you can go meet people, they're for improving how you view yourself.
