Where did you meet your current g/f ?

been so long since I've been here, but always a pleasure to pay this board a visit

Anyway, no advise or whatever from me, but I was just curious about that, where did you meet her. I'm not talking like one night stands or something, but for the people who feel they kinda have settled with one girl, where'd you meet her. I'm hoping that the conclusion of all the replies will be that it realy shows that even the craziest **** happens in life :cheer:

Don't expect many replies to this thread as I don't think many posters here have/ever had girlfriends.

Anyway, I met my current girlfriend, Lisa, via a friend. I'd seen her around, but she was in a LTR and I'd never had much chance to talk to her. Yet it turned out she always had the hots for me, so I got my friend to invite her out. She started hanging out with us, I got her number, then the two of us started hanging out.

One day she told me she was going to leave her boyfriend. I asked why and she told me she'd met someone who she really fancies and wants to be with a lot more. I thought I was in the friendzone and would have to listen to her talk about other guys, yet it turned out that guy was me.

I gave it about a month after she left her boyfriend before I asked her out, just to make sure she was over him. So far so good!

Most the people on this board are single, then as soon as they get a girlfriend, they don't have a reason to post and take off..

I used to get out of hand with the posts back in the day, then as soon as I got a girlfriend I went on a 2 year leave of absence from this board.

I was talking to some Danish dude, and was trying to explain to him what the term "cheeky" meant. lol

So then these 2 girls walk by... and I thought "hey, what a funny/cheeky opening... to ask these girls their definition of cheeky."

Anyways... one of them stopped, started BS'ing... and the other one that walked away turned out to be my later GF... lol

Wasn't even into her, but the b!tch was silent, so that created intrigue. Alls the standard Heaven/HELL story from there on out.

Needless to say... she was American (so am I) and a Flight Attendent... so it worked out, after the travels.

last GF met her at a party. I was talking with a friend and this girl came up and started talking to us. She turned out to be his friend and not that hot so I turned around and opened this HB (my gf) who was talking to a dude (didn't even notice). We talked for a little then some friends I hadn't seen in like 3 months rolled in so I stopped talking to her (excused myself politely lol) and talked with my friends. I saw her by the door talking to another dude and thought she was leaving so I immediately went up to her (didn't want to lose her... I really liked her but just HAD to chat my friends) and just told her flat out "hey I don't want to lose touch with you just yet. GIve me your number and we'll go out and have some fun sometime"

she did

rest is history (dumped her at the end of summer when she went back to her college)
