Where are the posting guidelines?

I'm trying to figure out why I have to wait several hours for my posts to go live. Is this a trial period while the mods figure out if I'm a spammer or troublemaker or something?

Also, are there different moderation rules between Don Juan Discussion and Don Juan Tips? I want to post but there seems to be some vetting system going on which I'm not clear about.

Not that I'm aware of. Your posts should be showing up instantly.

Send a test post to DJ Discussion and tell me how long it takes to post. I'll delete it once we determine that.

Give it a title that I'll recognize like "Test message per Atom Smasher's request" or something like that.

It's okay. I've found that posts in DJ Discussion and Anything Else show up instantly. I posted a couple of times in DJ Tips and those were the ones which took a few hours to be allowed on there. So it seems like just that board has this extra level of moderation.
