"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

First date, she is someone you've only recently met: if she invites you in, she wants to make out with you. You MUST initiate. If you don't she will think less of you.

First date, she is someone you've known for a while (work, mutual friends, etc.): if she invites you in, she at least wants to make out with you AND you should escalate to sex and see how she behaves.

Feel free to add. The point of this post is to know when to go for things and not think too much, wait for the perfect moment (which will never happen), wonder what she wants, etc. Know to ACT, not think.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

just had a second date with a chick got back to her place, I think she's wanting take things slow as far as sex, but she's down to make out and let me feel her up, but no lay. wouldn't let me get her pants off. am i missing something this girl shows a lot of interest, not upset by it, but trying to figure out how to proceed to escalate. should i talk to her about it? wait for her to contact? or just keep on until she loosens up?

Try the "scare her off" tactic sometime.

Twice I had a neighbor who was ok-looking but who was coming over too much, so I tried to throw her on the couch and tear her clothes off, hoping she'd run away. But both times she loved it! So try this on girls you actually like.

So she has only met you two times in her life? You did fine, many girls will not have sex on a second date without otherwise knowing you over a period of time. She knows you are interested, she knows you are man enough to make sure she knows that. She gave you plenty of signs that she is interested but since you are the man you have to contact her. Wait two days then ask her out again. Don't talk about anything negative. Don't ask about her feelings, about why she did or didn't do something. Just go with the flow, keep it simple. Sure, on the third date, when you get back, SLOWLY escalate -- start with what she is used to (making out) then slowly escalate. She will let you know what's comfortable for her.
