Is this common among relationships? I'm only 24
Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.
She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.
Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.
So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.
The words come later. The impression comes first.
You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
I will admit she knows my stance on children but the marriage thing is too optimistic. How did you let yourself get into that position in the first place?
Clearly it should have come up in talks. And you should have told her "I don't believe in it".
Instead you have let her run amok. Only yourself to blame.
And I hope for your sakes that you haven't done the same with regards to the subject of having kids, or you are giving her a green light to spring a little surprise on you at her convenience.
But then if she's under the impression that you're getting married, she would probably hold that off anyway.
EVEN with sky high divorce rates HYPERGAMY is still alive and kicking. Especially if she's in her 20's and have never been married. Is this common among relationships? I'm only 24![]()
You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.
And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.
Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.
The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
The thing is a lot of people don't really know what they want and they can change their minds later. Girls do it all the time btw.I thought you were going to break up with her? Please stop wasting her time, and yours.
Moving forward, be honest with every female about who you are, and YOUR intentions. Yes, summertime's when you tell them "I dunt see kids or a marriage in my future" you are going to lose some of them, but it's better to lose some of them then to lead them on and find yourself repeatedly in this same place, whole you torture yourself with the same decisions of "how am I going to tell her?"

Agreed. In this case, when a mind does change, even if the change is directed at your current partner (I.e. I do want to get married, I just don't see you as being the person I marry) that is the moment you tell your feelings to the person you are dating. The thing is a lot of people don't really know what they want and they can change their minds later. How many girls in their 20's just want to sleep around, then later decide they want a LTR? Guys can do the same thing. We can change our minds too. There was a time when I really wanted to settle down and get married. Now I feel different.
Yep her parents have been happily married forever, my parents divorced and my dad remarried 4 times and is pretty much stuck in a marriage right now. In addition, my mom has been mentally ill since the divorce, guess this can shape somebody's perspective on marriage lol.EVEN with sky high divorce rates HYPERGAMY is still alive and kicking. If her parents are still married and happy together then this is no doubt on her agenda.
I remember in high school I wanted to have 10 kids like my friend's family lmao. The thing is a lot of people don't really know what they want and they can change their minds later. Girls do it all the time btw.

Don't let this assumption and emotional manipulation penetrate your psychology. Marriage is a rigged institution that mostly benefits women at the financial, familial, and legal expense of men.Is this common among relationships? I'm only 24![]()
I don't agree with that. Woman manipulate ALL the time to get what they want from men. Once they get what they want and have no more use for the man, they move on while spitting in the mans face, making him broke, and laughing at him at the same time.Moving forward, be honest with every female about who you are, and YOUR intentions. Again cannot agree. Women don't 'live authentically.' Women live to manipulate, to humiliate, to get resources, to look good for their friends and family. They don't live for the 'man.' They could care less about the man. They care about what the man can do for them.Live AUTHENTICALLY
That's an extremely weak frame to game within. Have fun with that.I don't agree with that. Woman manipulate ALL the time to get what they want from men. You want to live authentically? You wlll get absolutely destroyed, get bankrupt, get humiliated and lose the game.
You want to win game? Manipulate, manipulate, manipulate, change your words, change your circumstances, change your feelings, and always do what's best for you.![]()
Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.
Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers. Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.
I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.
