Depends. I've seen some 42 year old women look amazing. Granted, this was in NYC, but still drop dead gorgeous. I'm sure though, with make up, I wouldn't be surprised if she looked different. At 31 I did. At 41 there’s a little more space. I’m more judgmental. I’m usually thinking about how old she is, whether or not she’s my type. And whether or not she’s the high maintenance type. The stuff I used to put up with at 31 I cannot imagine putting up with at 41.

But of course this is probably just a product of being more jaded, lowered testosterone, and perhaps having more options than I did at 31.

But honestly it has to be more hormonal than anything. In my 30’s there was no such thing as a needy and neurotic attractive woman. At 41, I can usually see it a mile away because I no longer have those rose colored goggles on amplified with raging hormones.
