When to tell a girl you are dating you have a kid?

So when you are starting to go out with a new girl when would you let her know you have a kid with another chick?

My brother just got out of his relationship with this real fvcked up girl. She got pregnant and then this past friday ****ed her ex-fiance. He kicked her out of the apartment and is going no contact now but wants to know when and if he should tell a new girl about the kid.

Note that it may not be his kid but he doesnt know for sure yet.

I told him it isnt their business until he feels like they will still stay with him knowing that. But I also told him he doesnt need anything serious for a while so it shouldnt be an issue.

Unless they ask, I wouldn't tell them. It's better she finds out on her own. By that time, she would be deeply invested with the man and probably won't even mind.

In the early stages, her mind will be on high alert looking for "red flags".

In the later stages, her mind will be too occupied with all the "good times" she's had with the man and her attachment to him will be stronger.

Chicks ask whether or not you have a kid on the first date. My date certainly did. She got burned in the past and went out with a dude who was married with a couple of kids. My view is be open and tell her. If she has a problem with that then she's not the right girl for him. If he delays it, it may come across as he isn't comfortable with that fact.
