Long story short, on this online dating site I messaged this girl, turns out we know a lot of the same people, she's quite interested in me and we got to talking about a casual date (grab some coffees chat). We didn't select a time or place but she gave me her number to call her up. I told her I'd call either that day or the next day. Today is the next day and I gotta call her.

Question is, what is a more opportune time to call? I was thinking 1ish but read elsewhere that closer to the evening is better?

I want to meet her as soon as possible because I don't want to spend time getting to know her online too much.

Suggestions?

Call her this evening sometime. Surely you have SOMETHING going on during the day that causes you to be busy until then. If not, then get something going on.
