When they don't use your name

This is a rather unimportant thing but I was just curious. Quite a few chicks(especially at college) don't use my name, usually the hotties, and I was wondering if that's a sign of dis-interest. I mean they KNOW my name but they don't use. I say THEIR names all the time. I don't have a tongue twister for a name either, it's simply Michael.

I have come to the conclusion that the reason for that is they don't want to build rapport with me. What do you guys think?

I can't assess their interest level, obviously. However, I can tell you that if they are highly interested, they will use your name. If they aren't calling you by name, it is probably because they aren't comfortable using it.

Give them some love and you should be okay.

I have the same problem with one girl.

Personally i think its rude and shows a lack of manners. I have a name so use it.

But after reading the post previous to me maybe there is more to it.

Get over it man.

Even when I talk to people it's not uncommon for me not to say their name. Unless it's a friend who I've hung out with quite a few times I don't remember their names in most cases anyway. I can't even name all of the people who know me.

Perhaps because of all that Hash you are seeing things that aren't there? Sorry, with your screenname I couldn't resist.

On a more serious note, you're probably seeing something that's not a problem. Quit worrying.

I think its a definate sign of interest.

Current hottie I have my eyes on, without fail will say my name when she says Hi. ie Hi Monkey.

Having said that I hardly ever use girls names when I say hello or am talking to them, it just doesnt feel natural for me to do it, even to the ones I'm interested in. Need to make an effort to do this!

From my experience it's either rudeness from a b1tchy hb or just disintersest so it depends on the hoe.A smart chick ends and begins a sentence with your name ...that's an open invitation ...but sometimes they will do it be cute.
