I was out this weekend at some park at a book fair w a girl and another girl I'm seeing apparently saw me there. I sent a pic of a book I got and she said something like oh I thought you got that at the book fair and then said I thought you were having fun. I said if you saw me you should have said hi. She said you were far and I didn't want to. These texts aren't important I'm just giving some context.

I know this isn't a big deal because I haven't given any signals to either of them that I wanted to be exclusive by any means whatsoever, but seeing other people also isn't something I explicitly talked about with them. Even though I say I don't care what girls do when they're not with me, I probably would feel little a bit down if I saw someone I was seeing out having a great time with another guy, and I'm sure that the girl felt a similar way.

As of right now nothing really happened, but I would not be surprised if the girl that saw me out will be less intimate with me in the future. How should I go about approaching this? Basically I want to keep what we had going, and I feel like this situation puts that at risk. It's basically all speculation as of now, but regardless of this specific situation, I think the answers here could be of value to this community in general.

Update: asked her if she was comfortable with it, she said she didn't know but its my choice and she respects it, I said i would be honest with her and enjoyed her, everything is fine, she is still flirting and asked what I was doing this weekend

I think it would have been better to not have asked her anything, what do you guys think

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

I've had similar situations go both ways..
Some will see it as competition for you, and up their efforts.... Some will go off you....
Depends on the girl, and her level of interest.

As stringpuller says... just own it and see how it goes.
You're only 20 - plenty of time, plenty more women....
