"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Hey guys,

Met a girl on Saturday night at a bar, did a bit of dancing together, some kissing and had some fun conversation.

We exchanged numbers and parted ways.

I was planning on messaging her on Tuesday or Wednesday, but now on Monday night she messages "Hey spax, how was the rest of your weekend? :)"

I have yet to reply and was thinking of getting back to her Tuesday morning. What do you think?

Anyone know any good replies too?

Apologies for the basic questions....I've been out of the game for 7 years!

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

if she messaged you first then theres a good chance her interest is fairly high

there isn't much need to play games in a situation like this just reply when your ready

just something open-ended like

" hey HB , yea pretty crazy what happened to you ?

don't go overboard in trying to impress but just enough to make her curious

Yeah no need to play games, just respond to her. Don't tell her every detail about your weekend. Keep it short and get a date set up asap.

Spax;

Like you, I've been out of the market for awhile.

I made the mistake of not responding to a text from a first date who thanked me for a nice evening and said she looked forward to seeing me again...

I thought I would play it cool and wait four days...to build tension..not appear desperate...etc. etc..

She replied the next day that it was rude not to reply and wished me well in my search...

She was right, it was rude and I deserved her response...

Now I reply when I see the message.
Something simple (or funny) like Bingo-Player or Fireballs suggest, is respectful and appropriate...Then set yourself up for the second date.

Just don't get swept up into a text vortex..That's something else completely.
The date is the goal...1:1 face-time... There is no substitute...

First ask what do you want. DO you want to go out with her?

If this is what you want.... DO NOT text her back. CALL her NOW and ask her out. The only reason why you wait to contact is to test her level of interest. If she contacts you first... you know she is interested.

Call her NOW. Make a date get off the freaking phone and work your majic when you are face to face.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

No need to call her. Say "Hey had a blast. Hbu trouble maker?" Tease her on whatever response she gives and then set up next meet "if she plays her cards right."

Aka: DHV, remind her you're fun, interested, confident, direct, and are the prize. All in a tiny package.

Then forget about her. She'll hit you up to confirm - the interest is there. Less is more. It's all about what NOT to do from here until the bedroom.

Self control and creating anticipation is all you need to raise interest initially. Keep it Simple.

^This.

Repped.

Texty games are for women. Don't pander by playing their games. Stand apart: call them. Don't be afraid of confrontation, grab your sack and hit the "call" button ...and do it before you think of anything. That way, the phone ringing is just enough time to take a deep breath.

"Hello"
"Hi. I just got your text. Let's meet up at 123 on XYZ."
"No."
*click*

Problem solved. No more texty games.

Or...

"Hello"
"Hi. I just got your text. Let's meet up at 123 on XYZ."
"Ok."

^^^ more likely ^^^
Either way. No epic 3-day texty matches that end in a stalemate.
