"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Dj principles dictate that we shouldn't talk about what we feel and to maintain mystery. This plate I've been dating is head over heels and I can see and feel that she is in love, she even slipped once and said that she loved me, by accident which I didn't respond to. I used to be an extreme beta and was always talking about how I feel and that I wanted them, ugh, if I think about it now it makes me sick.

Nowadays, I rarely speak, I just let my actions decide what the girl thinks and this has worked miracles. Thing is, out of all plates there is one which I am really into and I've outgrown just ****ing around and would like to be in a relationship with her, problem is, she's been withholding sex and she said that she doesn't know what I think or feel and that I'll forget about her soon.

Because she's withholding sex and trying to be in control because of it I'm starting to pull back and I'd normally cut it off here and move on to the next. Thing is though, I've never sat down with her and talked things out, about what I want and where things are going. A friend of mine says that she's withholding sex because she thinks that that's her only way of keeping me, which is doing the opposite and that she thinks I'm just with her for sex.

We've literally never spoken about where things are going since the first time we had sex, and I'm unsure what to do at this point. Cut it off and move on, or try to talk things out?

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Are you a boy?

Because all of this sounds girly. Stop exploring your feminine side. Girls who are head over heels and in love do not withhold sex. It's good that you haven't talked about your feelings because she doesn't seem to have the same feelings as you, or she would stop withholding. What you should do is be a man and tell her what you want, and if she won't do it, find another woman.

Just what I needed, thank you.
