"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

:cheer: SO ALPHA of you:cheer:

p.s.never said I was bigger than you - thought size and weight mattered on this thread the way you said it

Highlights of your story = None

tl:dr = bigniel had a beer and saw someone he doesnt like anymore. the end.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Bigneil,

I see your point as being "Alpha males don't suggest relocating a potential fight, they do it right where the conflict occurs." It is an interesting idea to explore, but there is a lot or variables to consider.

To some degree, I think you're right, but you're basing your opinion on your own experiences, which are also biased towards your unusually large body size. You have the luxury of standing up and being able to intimidate people, so perhaps your potential altercations do end right where the conflict occurs; especially with Beta males, or males who simply decided that a fistfight with you was not worth the real or perceived insult. There are differences between the two, certainly.

For others, like myself, it is not so simple. Without going into all the philosophical talk about whether getting into unregulated fistfights are a good idea (they're not), I'll give my experiences as a response to your post.

I've trained in martial arts and fought competitively in full-contact, no holds barred fighting for about eight years. I did so prior to the Army, and also representing my battalion in a division-wide tournament for a while. I'm certainly no bad-ass, but I do speak from a fighter's perspective.

I fought in the lightweight class, I'm a slim guy, no doubt. Thus, when I wish to defuse a potential bar brawl situation, I have to try to talk it out first - few people are going to be intimidated by me standing up. If I am unable to convince the other person that a fistfight is not in either of our best interests, then I always politely suggest we go outside.

I do this for a few reasons. First, it's to avoid dozens of witnesses to a possible felony assault. Second, being off of the property means the police are far less likely to be called. Third, it allows me to see how serious they are, and also what kind of resources, i.e., friends, they have. Last and most important, in the state of CA, mutual combat is legal and is much more easily proven when both participants willingly meet at a designated location for combat.

Most intelligent, reasonable men, do not let it go that far. I'm happy to buy a guy a beer if it makes him feel better and I have no problem saying "Hey man, my bad, I didn't mean to bump into you".

Still, one guy did take me up on my suggestion in eight years, and he ran off after the first couple of strikes. Once the fight began, I could tell he immediately realized he had got a lot more than he bargained for. Even his friends were embarrassed and left.

So, in conclusion, not everyone who suggests going outside is copping out. They may certainly do so at the last moment, but I would say that if they suggest relocating in an even, polite tone, with no discernible emotion, they are probably quite serious and are framing the situation, legally and tactically, to their benefit. If they're obviously young, drunk and yelling, then it's likely just posturing and trying to one-up the situation, hoping you'll back down.

Obviously, you one-upped even further in your incident with your former roommate. Still, the best result is that you guys resolved it without any fractured eye sockets.

For the fun of it, let's say I, Sik, bump into you, Bigneil, at your favorite Irish pub. You turn and say "Hey bro, you bumped into me!" I would say "Did I? I'm sorry! I didn't mean to." Hopefully, that would be the end of it. Let's say you, Bigneil, are really angry that day and get aggressive, saying "Sorry isn't good enough! I'm Bigneil and I'm going to stomp your guts out!" I would say "Whoa! I don't want any trouble. How about I buy you a beer, bro? What are you having?" If that didn't work and the aggression continued, I would decide to leave or politely say "Well, I'm sorry you feel that way, Mr. Bigniel. We can settle this outside."

It may or may not end well for me, haha. It's been a long time since I stood with a light heavyweight (205lbs), and he had me seeing stars. Damn fists were like hammers...

Just to be clear, getting into unregulated fistfights is generally a bad idea. There's little to gain and lots to lose. Being attacked, of course, is entirely different. Beat that bastard without mercy, leave immediately and lawyer up.

This is really confusing. To me "lets take it outside" is all about trying to get your opponent by himself so you can deal with each other privately without the bartender or whatever breaking things up. You guys are almost suggesting it's not legally battery just because it may happen outside. It's the same thing inside or outside. Only outside there will be less people to interfere. Less objects that can be used to fight dirty, etc...

Secondly if I am staying at someone else's place or in such a position where I can be told to leave then that means I don't have the right to ask the lease holder to do anything. The agreement goes as far as one room being mine, maybe some standards as far as cleaning up after yourself and that's it. If things go sour just move out.

Thirdly why are you even fighting for? what do you hope to gain by winning? If you win will he ask his girl to leave? like that? I don't fight for stupid reasons, and I don't get butthurt because my friend want's to shack up with a girl. If the living conditions change in such a way that you are unhappy then just leave, easy as that. Why get pissed at your buddy because he's gone AFC on some female? You know the pull a girl can have on you sometimes, why get in the middle of that?

Assault and battery is illegal and you can get jail time at the very least there will be fees and such to pay for if you get arrested. Why choose to go through this rather than just doing what you will ultimately be doing anyway, and that's moving out? I thought being alpha was all about being in total control of your emotions? This sounds like some kinda cat fight with all the name calling and baby shi-t.

Bizzaro thread...

if u seriously disrespect me in public, especially in front of my woman, not only are we going to fight, bud, but also, you ARE going to lose, big time, eventually. If I have to hunt you down and use a silenced rifle on your leg, you're going to be wearing a SIGN about how sorry you are!

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Unless there are more than the two combattants there, the minute a guy says lets take it outside, you damn well go outside and make sure that you are at least an arms length away from him and that you ready to throw a punch should any disrespect occur.

Ideally, you should be hitting him square in the jaw the minute you walk outside the door with him.

No man has yet dared this me, but i will always have the phrase of shakespeare in my mind "Beware of a quarrel, but being in, bare it the opposer is wary of you" You have to use reverse psychology and shout your mouth off...... I have noticed that that this is the common tick of hood rats who shoot their mouth off and scare opponents into submission... pvssys!!!!

Dude, you are a freakin idiot.....aren't you the same one that pays Phillipinas money to get them to trust you enough to marry them and relocate to the phillipines after talking to them online before moving them to the US....guys like you disgust me...

All this talk about what is alpha...well i don't know if there is any clear set criteria of what is...but one thing is for sure...this guy ain't anywhere close to being one..

Why would you let a drunk idiot who 'disrespects' you in front of your woman who you met online from 1000s of miles away (LMAO) threaten you so much where you have the need to enact revenge later on??? Man you are pathetic. I say this because i have met plenty of idiots like you in real life at bars and despise them. Insecure low lives.

Is this a joke thread? You guys do realize how easy it is to crack somebody's skull, break their nose, break bones, or make someone lose vison in their eyes? If your job is some blue collar loser working for a trucking company or a plant then by all means go ahead. But, for people in college or a white collar job fighting is a LOSE-LOSE situation. I have never even been nowhere close to fighting anybody or even seen a fight. Where are you guys going? The most hoodrat infested clubs in town? Me myself only **** with the EDM/house music scene so maybe that plays a part.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Hmmm...where have you been going...even at my small town local pub there are always fights because there are always drunk idiots looking for trouble...case in point...i had a muscled up Cuban approach me out of the blue one night and tell me he just came up from Cuba and was wanting to fight int he UFC and told me he was an MMA fighter and then proceeded to get in my face and said he wanted to fight me then told me to give him my beer or fight him.....wasn't bluffing or anything was staring me down like he wanted to kill me..he wanted to beat my a$$.....luckily a cop was in there that he didn't see and came between us because he actually looked pretty tough..but no doubt a freakin loser.....but this type of crap happens to me regularly at bars and i am fairly big...6'2 225 pounds or so.....i avoid all fights unless i feel like there is no choice but to fight...

Sometimes...i even get the hey you are standing in my spot line...move...or if i am dancing with a girl some guy will start bumping into me on purpose...some guys get threatened easily and just want to fight plain and simple...

Wtf? What city was this? I don't really intend to mess with bars myself when I turn 21 because people always say people do nothing but fight at bars, since everybody is drunk. Some random Hispanic dude trying to kick him some gringo ass sounds like you were at the local bar in the. "barrio" side of town. Just two months ago at 21+ bar in my city some dude shot the SH1T outta some guy and his girl, they both died instantly. They play nothing but Young Jeezy, Gucci Mane, and Boosie up in that club anyway. Like I said in my last post leave them hip-hop hoodrat infested places alone. That's why I just **** with the EDM scene nothing but people looking to have a good time talking to girls.

If this **** happens to you regularly at these bars then I would assume its because its a bar, because I never go into those things myself. Dudes trying to tussle over a spot and all that crazy ass **** just might because your area is sh11ty. Try hitting up dance clubs or if your city has a EDM scene try getting into that.

i agree with scars in the sense that i've only been mad enough to get in a real let's get it on fight in my life once, and that was in HS in basketball pratice. my parents, the principle, hell the president could have walked in the door at that moment and i would not have given 2 ****s, at that point when i rushed him it was going down. and that's all there was to it. there was no star down no **** talking, he had been taking shots at me all week and he clipped me after i went up for a layup and i landed on my back hard and that was the last straw i was going to beat his ass.

but in situations where i feel one guy is trying to talk another guy into a fight or ****, i always am able to stay level headed enough to get out of the situation. **** not 1-2 months ago with the fake skinhead situation i just got up and left.

in that situation i'm doing him and me a favor beucase he really doesn't want to fight either.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Common sense would say this is true......but unfortunately, it is not...one of my friends is one of the calmest nicest acting people you would ever meet and is like 6-5 tall and for some reason punks always try to start a fight with him when he is just minding his own business at a bar or nightclub...i have also been approached several times by punks when i did nothing to instigate anything at all..

Maybe it's where we live... a fairly small town in the deep south...lot's of rednecks and wiggers try to start crap down here for no reason.....a lot's of guys get threatened when they see you picking up hot women...

sadly i see your point

in the deep south this could be a problem...and anyplace where incomes and jobs are scarce and common decency even scarcer

commonplace brutish, violence will be an increasing problem as the uncivilized peons get poorer and poorer with every passing year.

every time a man steps out of doors he may risk harm from a jealous faggot

but a man of means has much to lose...violence on one hand, lawsuits if he wins on another....

if you have something to lose $$$ it is best to walk cautiously and stay alert leaving at the slightest hint of trouble

“The 22 Psychological Triggers That Make Women Chase You… Starting Tonight”

Forget the cash, the cars, and the chiseled jawlines. Female desire operates on a completely different frequency. Primal. Subconscious. Triggers that bypass her logic and hit her on a gut level. Most guys are totally blind to them.

I know because I was one of them. The overthinking. The paralysis. The silent drive home kicking yourself for freezing up. Watching average guys walk away with the girl while you stood there stuck in your own head.

Then I decoded the psychology behind what actually makes women tick. 22 hard rules.  Subtle behavioral shifts that rewired my entire reality. The anxiety evaporated. Women started leaning in. Investing. Chasing.
