You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

I'm getting to the point where I won't actually tell them to get lost. Keep them close, play the game back, use her for practice and let her think she has got the upper hand.
Don't do her favours or go out of your way to accomodate her needs. Try to shag her at every opportunity.
I don't normally condone this kind of behaviour towards decent women, but if she is just playing games and stringing you along, then she doesn't deserve your 'best behaviour'.
