"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Land of slow.
Never really payed attention to a girls parental situation. Just finished reflecting and so far of the last 12 girls I dated 10 of them were product of divorced parents. And the only two girls that lead to meaningful relationships, were a product of a household that stuck together. Any of you DJ's have the same results?

Sure they seem fine at first. But once you get in a little deeper you see obvious red flags. Flake like behavior, inconsistencies with what they say, took great risks on past relationships. Would any of you even bother to try and fix a girls life who didn't have both parents? or Just move on.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Excellent post, Vantagepoint, and I am suprised that no one else has yet commented. But saying that 94.8 per cent of guys on here are trying to grub a way out of talking to women, rather than third or fourth base etiquette.

EVERY fooked up situ that ive been in, I put down to divorced parents, and the trauma that comes from that afterwards to the young child.

It would be too long winded and boring to talk about them all, but basically the old daddy issues, not trusting men, independent woman, men are alll b'stards viewpoint id prevalent in women like this.

Yeah, that's about my experience too. Add in the illegal aliens who'd do anything to hook up with a white guy, and the easy lays are pretty much damaged merchandise.

Both girls I dated had divorced parents. I'm trying to change that in my future but easier said than done nowadays. I can't stand being compared to some stepfather or deadbeat. As soon as I discover any daddy issues, it's not a matter of how fast I can run, but how far I run.

Honestly, most guys here will end up dating a girl that comes from a divorced family. However, I know fvck-ups that came from divorced and non-divorced parents. I wouldn't rule a girl out for it, but it is something to be wary of and may explain some behavior.

My question comes in if you met the PERFECT girl BUT she comes from a divorced family, for example, where the father cheated on mom and she doesn't respect the father anymore. What do you do? Cooks, cleans, fvcks, submissive, but bad family history. Are you going to rule her out when it was really beyond her control?

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

I love women who come from divorced families. And I especially love women who for whatever reason hate their dads. Those are the easiest for me to game and keep, on my terms. Of course most women consider me to be kind of a d*ck, so perhaps I remind them of their dads.
