What's Your Opinion, Experienced DJ's: Will I Get the Date??

Had a little fun the other night I thought I'd share....

I was out doing my usual tomcatting Tuesday night. Ran into a chick I bump into once a month. I usually flirt with her a bit but most times logistics have really stunk (maybe three previous times).

Anyway, I spot her at the bar, she sees me, gives me a little kiss, and we decide to have drinks and do a little dancing. But, she's low on money so I grab her hand and just walk her into the part of the club where the band plays that requires a cover (I know the doorman). I buy her nothing.

We drink, dance, I kino, you know the drill. I'm about to smoke and say so and say "kiss me" before I go. She says, "we aren't even on a date", me: "so?" and I kiss her, she blushes a little and I head outside.

About 1 hour later she's worried her friend can't get in (again, no money). So I do the same. Take her hand and walk her through. Later, all three of us are dancing as a trio (silly slow dance).

Anyway, to cut to the chase... I decide I'm bored, want to try my chances at a bar closer to home (better logistics) but also want to leave on a high note.

I tell my target that we should go out for drinks sometime after the holiday. She agrees. I tell her to kiss me again and she gives the same resistance.

I look at her friend and say, "You'll kiss me, right?" and just start making out with her. All in good fun. Then I bounce.

Really could care less (as I have other plates), but... so, you think I get her out later next week?

Not looking for advice, just your view on whether my move on her friend will spike her interest to see me, seeing as it was a bit fun, ballsy, and not-give-a-sh!t about offending her.

Dude, read between the lines.

Her friend was there and they were gonna being doing the "girlfriend" thing. Plus, though I didn't say it, her friend was not exactly a chick I'd want to wake up to the next day. Kind of rode hard.

Additionally, the first time I bang this girl/target shouldn't be a threeway if I wanted to actually see again. Further, I doubt she--though not her slutty friend--would have gone for it.

Being machiavellian doesn't necessarily mean getting the bang immediately. That would have probably been worse in the long-run.

Also, it would have been a clear signal I was chasing their pussies, which I wasn't for this night in particular. Leaving by showing I could do without it, I thought, was the best move, I'm my opinion at the time. Your mileage may vary.

Thanks. Yeah, already had her number from 2 months back. Have barely used it.

It my earlier days, I've might have blown it up and me out.

Now, she sees me and her eyes light up.

She only knows a little about me but our interactions are never "platonic." She knows I'm sexual for/towards her.

In my experience, the lay is just a matter of time.

But, I put this post up for "experienced guys" to see what there experience was with such a move as I did.

Again, not looking for advice, just what guys who've been in similar circumstances have to say about that situation.

Exactly. Let her marinate. You could have pushed for it, but if it didn't work out, then from that point on you'd be just another orbiter trying to get a piece.

It's good to have chicks simmering on the back burner. One day you may have sex, but until then, it's a game that you two are playing. Chicks love it that they can hang out with a guy that won't go in for the kill at the first sign of a possible bang. They enjoy the tease, the game. The gradual escalation.

Next time she's out, she'll be looking for you. Hoping you'll just show up out of the blue. It seems you've got this one locked in
