The Jerk is a great movie. Definately Steve Martin's best. I wish he would go back to doing more of that kinda stuff. He's still funny, but old and lazy. He would rather do sequels to rotten family films than anything really funny.

But to get back on topic, My favorite films change all the time. Here is my current list.

Mulholland Drive
Flash Gordon (1979 version with the Queen Soundtrack)
Thunderbolt and Lightfoot
Citizen Kane
Anything with Buster Keaton

and Pulp Fiction

The original National Lampoon's Vacation is another classic comedy, imo.
On a more violent note, I also like True Romance and Natural Born Killers.

My favorite new movie by FAR is Sin City, it's just like the comic books I used to read......others include:

The Shining
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
The Godfather
South Park Movie

I like alot of those 60's/70's throwback movies with killer soundtracks ie. Wonderland, Blow

I don't have one favorite movie, I just can't choose. Also, just because one's my favorite doesn't mean I'm not sick of it, heh, but still. Anyway, I'd say three of my favorite movies currently would be Raiders of the Lost Ark (best adventure movie ever); Groundhog Day (brilliant comedy with heart, and Bill Murray is a genius in it); and Lost in Translation (it just struck a chord with me, and I love watching it for some reason I can't put my finger on)
