Why some people say do not use iceberg lettuce for Caesar Salad? :Confused:

That is somewhat of a myth. Iceberg is less nutritious than a superfood green like kale or spinach, but it is still nutritious. If you've ever had it from a home garden, it actually has flavor, too. Produce isn't supposed to taste like the bland nothingness that it does. But unfortunately that is what is typically available to most people.synergy1 said:

I always use Spinach when at the salad bar and no dressing, just blue cheese chunks sprinkled on.
