The problem is that their culture is so repressive of sexuality. They expect men to have 1950's sexual values, but yet have access to Internet porn at the same time. It can drive a guy insane. That doesn't excuse rape, but it's not like the rapists are happy about what they did. One of them just killed himself in jail. It's not as simple as bad people doing bad things. There are larger societal problems involved.
You see the feminists say rape and murder is wrong (well they are) but then the same people are pushing for a death sentence for 7 young men, which could in fact be considered worse than the original crime itself. No one in the media appears to even bat an eye lid or criticism on the possible sentencing.
