What's up with phone cameras these days?

Just flicking through Facebook as you do, Seen a picture of the couple I know.

Just reminded me of how messed up phone cameras are these days.

The women looks a lot better than she does in real life, the guy looks way worse.

It's adjusted his skin and slimmed down and elongated his face, done some weird stuff. Basically feminised him.

See it all the time, with guys in pictures with their girlfriend. This just reminded me and I thought I'd make a post.

Question... How do you turn all that stuff off?

Women love that stuff. I have a small business, mostly women clients contact me , set up a meet.

They never look like their profile picture. Always question myself if I've arrived at the right clients house haha.

Possibly phone manufacturers turning on loads of settings to make women look good in pictures to sell more phones?

Most modern smartphones have auto filters and face slimming on by default. Also, men in general look worse in close lens distorted pictures in general due to having more angular features.

This is nothing new. I've always found that women look significantly worse in real life than online. Generally you can expect them to be about 2 points below their profile and if they only show their face or take pictures from a weird angle then I guarantee they're a fatty. They also use pictures from years ago when they were younger, hotter and slimmer. In Asia it's even worse - there they use so many filters that it's hard to know if it's even the same person. Butt ugly women can make themselves look like supermodels.

In Asia, the percentage of overweight women hasn't caught up to the U.S. levels. But 100% agree on OLD (online dating) using old pictures, which I saw in half my matches (years ago).
