What's up with New Moon?

Call me nuts, but I just noticed something tonight. It's Friday night, people usually party, but it's quet outside, not even a mouth. Everything is dead still. It's new moon tonight, no moon. I noticed that every new moon things are quet. Less people are out. There is less crime, less cars, less noise. I fish, and usually I see lights in windows, but during full moon it appears everyone is sleeping. As if by magic! There are less chicks out, and less partying going on too.

Anyone else notice this?

Urban legend says full moons are when the crazies come out -- more bar fights, more crime, more emergency room visits -- and yours is the same premise except focusing on the other end of the lunar cycle. Numerous statistical analyses have shown nights of full moons are no different than any other night. If anything, burglaries and robberies may actually increase during new moons because of greater penetrating darkness.

I swear, I got some bad news from my buddy, decided to go out for a night ride, I was on I95 at 2:30, that's rush hour, trucks suppose to be zooming by, and people coming back from bars, and this is Friday night I mind you. I was like the only car on the road. Then I went fishing, usually people leave their tvs on, or lights on, or smoke on balconies, it was complete black out. Forget fishing, I go to a bar, a place that is usually packed on weekdays until it closes at 4:30, there was considerably less people there. I know about full moon, I used to do illegal racing around here and you dont' race during full moon, because something happens to cops they all come out during full moon. But I never noticed anything wrong with no moon, I guess because I never came out during Friday night an no moon, or I just haven't taken notice. Geeze. This is freaky. Now I'm going to wait for another no moon to compare if this is true, lol.

I have noticed things like this before with places being unusually quiet when they are usually quite busy. I don't know if it's true or coincidence but it makes you wonder sometimes.
