"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Man, you guys are deluded. In university, smart weirdos finally meet other smart weirdos and have great social lives. Some "beta" with a 3 AM show at the university radio station is likely having a way better time than you, sitting in your dorm room, telling us all about how alpha you are.

Loosen up, man. Go skip class and do some acid in the desert or something.
Yea, the great thing about college is that it's okay to be weird, unlike high school. People are finally okay with the fact that everyone is weird and just a little bit fvcked up. Girls even find it attractive at this point on when you're kinda weird. I mean the cool weird, not the socially awkward weird. More like eccentric.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

It's difficult to say that college is full of 'betas', with few alphas. In reality, I'm pretty sure there's a spectrum of beta-tude. The true betas are rare, just are the true alphas.

I know many guys who are beta in certain ways (terrible body language, dress poorly), but are dominantly alpha in others (purse their interests with blazing passion, great general social skills - if women aren't turned off by his appearance) and a few of them have a girlfriend whom they've been dating for a while.

I've realized that you don't have to be perfect to get the girl...in some cases, you don't even have to approach, just talk to people you regularly come into contact with or bump into everyday over time. Out of all those people, a girl will probably like you (Mere presence effect, Propinquity: relevant psychology terms).
^ This is so true! Had experienced many times! Actually they will BUMP you after a while!.

They are all going with the flow of the herd, never making anti-women remarks, and being good soldiers in the psuedo world their rich parents painted for them.

They're the Everyone's A Winner generation and will crash and burn when they hit reality. That's ok, there's plenty of Rx meds to help them cope. We'll be there in the background banging their chicks.
