What's the point in Growing up?

My gosh I'm so sick of people these days

I'm starting to think that there is no such thing as a "grown up", but just a big ass baby in an adult body. The majority of adults today act like freakin kids I swear. B1tchin about the stupid crap and whining about everything that doesn't go their way. it's just ridiculous

Right now I'm ready to kill my dad because he's a prime example. Exploding of some missing toilet paper???!! what the hell? is your ass about to explode or something? why not just go get more??

He's not the only one either. I see it everyday and it's pathetic. Ladies throwing temper tantrums in the store because they can't find something, men doing the same because we are out of something they want. The kids are usually better behaved than their parents and I think that's just sad.

I ask why do people even say grow up if they themselves don't act grown up?

I see more and more people these days just acting like glorified teenagers instead of men and women

And OP I agree, there are a lot of crybaby "adults" in the world.

But really, whats the use in *****ing and complaining, kind of makes you no better then some whiny adult. Try and spread around more positivity instead of focusing on the negatives.

But really, if the OP is going to rant about something serious, the least he could do is actually check to make sure what he's typing makes sense. If I'm going to read it, I'd like to understand it. But I understand that the educational system here in the US is quite poor, so I'll refrain from blaming the OP !

There are two different paths of development:

1) Handling adult responsibilities, emotions, ethics, work ethic, etc.
2) Staying a kid at heart.

There are many people who don't understand the natural laws of power, make huge mistakes, and either fail to recognize or know how to rectify how their adverse behavior is negatively impacting their goals. Many people do fine in terms of being a mature adult and hold their life together, but there is the other problem of rotting. There is old saying that "If you're green (immature) you're growing; if you're ripe (mature), your rotting." People lose their sense of youth and mature into senile adults. Their worldview shrinks from endless possibilities into rigid cynical pessimism. In other words, they take being an adult too seriously and shut themselves out of opportunties.

I see more and more people these days just acting like glorified teenagers instead of men and women.

-Living for progress
2) Staying a kid at heart.
-Living for the moment and memories

The answer lies in the middle, I think.

If you live completely for the moment and memories when you are young, you'll have a great life, but nothing to ensure your future is secure and prosperous.

Conversely, if you live only for progress, your life is somewhat empty and you have few memories of joy and crazy times with friends.
