i heard the new RHCP is awesome. In my opinion real rock is dying.

That new Tool album just isnt as good as Lateralus imo.

With Teeth had only like 4 good songs

Martin Lopez just quit Opeth

Opeth, Porcupine Tree, Velvet Revolver, and a few other bands are the last of what real rock is about

But the last CD I purchased was Hank Williams III 'Straight to Hell' talk about a hellraising good time

I bought a paul oakenfold mix from over ten years ago, titled Perfection. It's old school electronica, trance, house, and all vocals and its okay.

yeah dude. I hate that scene so much. And man, its not out of anything.

A real good friend of mines played bass for a band called Spoken and so I would hang out with him and all these emo kids like way back when emo wasnt exactly a fad. Those kids dont know how to have fun. And their music is annoying.

I do like one or two bands though like Thursday, Brandston and At The Drive In but thats about IT...f*ck hawthorne heights and Avenge Fagotfold

I don't know man... I thought Lateralus was pretty good, but I didn't enjoy it as much as Aeinma and the new CD. A lot of people I've talked to are on the fence with the new CD, but personally I ****ing love it.

I will agree with you though when you talked about rock music. They're not too many 'Rockstars' anymore... just a bunch of people playing music with guitars and drums.

It's not that I don't like a lot of the new ****, because I do, but 'rock' in the traditional sense (Kiss, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Pink Floyd and bands of that ilk come to mind) is dying rapidly.

and Motorhead lots and lots of motorhead!

If you like Pink Floyd a lot you need to check out this band called Porcupine Tree . they're like a new Pink Floyd, younger, trippier, and make just damn good foot tapping music. I cant beliebe they arent being played on the radio, their songs are catchy as hell.

Radio is way too commercialized and overplays 90% of the good songs. Chances are if you don't have a big name, or you're not local, you won't get much playing time. It sucks, but hey, I like those bigs names too lol
