sometimes i go out on weekends with a group of girls, i think they are all ugly but they are fun so i just dance with them and stuff.

When one of them says "Im getting a vibe between you and my freind Girl X, is there something going on between you? is the vibe comming from your end."

What is this likely to mean, and what is the best way to answer?

I just said "I dunno" because i couldnt think of anything

I've had this happed to me. If you want tit to work, say, "yeah, she's allright." The girl who feels you will not make the first move, cause she expects her friend to tell you the news, and for you to react. Sooooo...react. Its like a free lunch. Just pull some game on her. You knwo she feels you. Act accordingly.

Ask them to explain what they mean (ie play dumb). Make them really explain themselves by really playing dumb. If that doesn't annoy them enough to stop just say something like "We'll that's interesting. I guess you'll just have to wait and see if you are right or not."
