What's the best prepaid phone?

I currently have the Motorola v60i Tracfone. I've decided I am going to keep this one til I'm out of high school in the spring and then get a new one. What right now is the best prepaid phone and are there going to be any nice ones coming out soon. Thanks.

Buying minutes gets really expensive with those types of phones/plans.

Companies like Metro PCS here in the SF Bay Area offer unlimited calling time for something like 35-40 per month.

I don't see any reason why you don't just get a 1 year contract. I've had one plan or another since I was 17 years old... for the past 4 years. 40-50 bucks a month really isn't that much when you put it in perspective... that's, what, 6 meals at McDonalds?

I always look at money in terms of pizzas. $200 isn't $200, it's about 20 pizzas.

Anyway, the prepaid services suck in general. I'd get away from that ASAP.

I have the same phone you have man. I love it honestly.

I have to say though, it depends on how often you use it. If you use it a lot, cards are gonna add up quickly. If you are like me and don't use it for more than "where you at?" then it should be great.

As far as the service goes...I get service basically everywhere I go.
