I currently have the Motorola v60i Tracfone. I've decided I am going to keep this one til I'm out of high school in the spring and then get a new one. What right now is the best prepaid phone and are there going to be any nice ones coming out soon. Thanks.

I don't see any reason why you don't just get a 1 year contract. I've had one plan or another since I was 17 years old... for the past 4 years. 40-50 bucks a month really isn't that much when you put it in perspective... that's, what, 6 meals at McDonalds?

I have to say though, it depends on how often you use it. If you use it a lot, cards are gonna add up quickly. If you are like me and don't use it for more than "where you at?" then it should be great.
