What's the best movie soundtrack?

I give my vote to Garden State with Watchmen not too far behind (especially Bob Dylan for the opening credits).

It depends on what music you like.

My personal favorite is Heavy Metal (1983). A lot of really, really great classic rock/early metal songs.

Rivers Edge (very early 80's also) had a bunch of speed metal for its soundtrack. It featured early Slayer, Hallows Eve, and others i cant remember. This was WAY before metal was accepted, too.

A newer movie called 'A dirty Shame' had a bunch of really interesting songs on it. A lot of x-rated country songs. Funny as hell.

If you like punk rock, there is Repo Man, Suburbia, Rocknroll high School, Decline of Western civilization, SLC punk, but Im sure you already knew that, if you are into punk rock.

Schindler's list is definitely a classic. Haven't seen The Bodyguard although the name does sound familiar.
