You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Obviously if it had been a girl he was interested in he would have sent the best possible picture of her to get the best approval. But seeing as it's of questionable quality and not that great to begin with, it's a dude.
